This island is solid and very functional, and was easy to assemble. I bought an extra shelf to increase storage space which makes it even more useful. I've rated this product with 4 stars rather than 5 because the top easily scratches / sustains damage - you can't really use it as a work surface by itself - you need a cutting board, sheet pan, or other similar item to protect the integrity and finish of the top. Wish I'd known that before using a pastry / bench knife to divide my pretzel dough. Three other things, first, there is a bit of noise from the shelves when you're working on the top (the items on the shelves sort of rattle when you apply pressure to the top when you are, for example, kneading dough; this isn't a structural issue - just an auditory aesthetic one); second, the hooks for hanging utensils/tools/towels on either end are useless because they easily become dislodged when, for example, removing a towel or tool that has been hung upon said hook; and third, the drawers are a bit stiff - you have to apply a decent amount of pressure to get them to close fully. All of this being said, I'm relatively happy with my purchase and would give it 7/10.

I was able to put this all together by myself. Flipping it over, is a two person job. I was very impressed with it all fitting together, flush and level. So glad I went with the larger size.

This works wonderfully as a mobile kitchen island. The wooden top cleans easily and I love the extra storage space for utensils, hanging pots, and larger appliances. Despite the instructions specifying that assembly requires 2 people, I was able to put it together by myself.

We love it! It's both functional and looks great in our farm style kitchen. The wood top is beautiful and matches our wood floor. Only complaint is the hooks slip out easily when a pan is removed. Otherwise this table exceeds our expectations & we are very satisfied.

Sturdy and well made and the perfect size for my kitchen space. Frustrating that the extra shelf has been out of stock for months and is still not available. Storage usage for my purposes is limited without the extra shelf.

This stand looks great in the kitchen. We purchased this to replace an old table which had our mixer and coffee grinder. The instructions were easy to follow and we had it assembled in about an hour.

This portable island workstation is great! It’s better built and more stable than expected. The 2nd shelf was a worthwhile addition. This island fitted perfectly, in the middle of my kitchen. Be prepared, as it needs to be assembled and is delivered in many sections / pieces. FYI: It took an experienced handyman about 2. 5 house to totally assemble it.
