[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble. Need two people to mount lid. Use a pad to protect during assemble as it scratches easily. My only complaint is the deck lid bowed after the first day and doesn't align squarely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, easy assembly (less than 45 minutes). But I think it needs some internal structural support to prevent bowing in the middle. There are slots inside on the front and rear panels that could be used to add the support. All in all, it works as designed.

I bought this a month ago but only now got to put it together. The instructions are very detailed but excellent and easy to follow in 3 languages. The item, seems sturdy and roomy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Diagram appears to have the locking bar installed upside down which causes locking clamps not not align. Also, screws go in at an angle that is difficult to fully engage with the plastic.

I bought this deck box install was so so however the lid is already warped. I have had the box for less than a week. I’m at a loss because I wanted this for cushions and some pool stuff. Not sure what I am going to do with it now.

Bought and assembled and will return. First, a warning, as this model requires a 3 inch space behind it to allow the opening of the lid. It will not fit flush to the wall. The left side piece is warped, lid will not fit flush, and the design of the hasp for locking purposes won't allow proper room for installation of fastners. Won't let me add photos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased one of these deckboxes and completed its construction mostly alone ( I am an 80 yr old woman). I gave this only 4 stars because of the difficulty with screw and bolt sizes. Had I not had experience building previously I would not have thought to check the sizes of the bolt heads which I found to be METRIC in size. It appears that some of the hardware is US and some is METRIC. One in particular is 10mm. Once this size was established it was fairly smooth sailing. In all of the instructions I found admonitions to not overtighten the screws that went into(within) the plastic. True. BUT there are a couple of bolts which have a nut with a “self sealing” middle, i.e., it appears solid in the middle of the nut. THOSE MUST BE TIGHTENED SO THAT THE BOLT GOES THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE NUT and done tightly or the bolt connection will wobble making a very unstable connection. ( These are located in/on the hinge connection and i believe on the lock portion. ) On these connections I needed some stronger than I had strength. Other than that the box went together quite simply and well. You will need to use counter pressure using a wratchet wrench and a standard wrench. I discovered this last bit of information by watching a youtube demonstration of putting this Lifetime Deckbox together. Good Luck!!!

This is a "must have" for your deck, patio or outside your RV. I am a 65 year old widow and live is an RV. I needed something that looks great, last long, stands up to weather and be something I can put together alone, well this is the deck box for you! I love that it has the hasps for me to lock my things up with. When it arrived I noted that the instructions state it is a 2 person job but I decided to go ahead and try it alone. I didn't have any trouble doing it by myself. Yes, it would have been a little easier with someone else helping but I am glad to know this old lady could do it by herself. The colors are really great and just match my RV. It covers my wheels on the front side which really dresses up my space. A little more than a year ago I bought an 8x10 shed from Lifetime and I couldn't be more pleased with it and it is still like new all the way around. I am looking forward to years of use from this deck box. I love it and recommend Lifetime to everyone I know!

This is the outdoor storage box I've been waiting for!! I wanted something with a ton of storage, that didn't look like to total eye sore in my yard and of course Lifetime comes out with something that hits both! From the high quality to the sleek design with beautiful grey colors, to the massive amount of storage space, I am so impressed. I'm a Lifetime customer for LIFE! Their stuff never disappoints.

I decided to use my deck box in my closet to store my hoodies, extra blankets and winter shoes. It has a lot of space and stores a lot of stuff. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It is a nice neutral color. I would definitely recommend this deck box no matter how or what you intend to use it for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing impressed me as soon as it arrived. For starters, it was packaged well and shipped in a box that was very easy to handle and maneuver. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. Assembly was easy to complete by myself until the final steps to attach the lid (I just needed my wife to hold it in place while I put the bolts in). Everything felt very high quality and sturdy and I was impressed with the thickness of the metal parts and hardware. This thing is built to last! This thing is beautiful and I would have no problem at all having this sit in front of my home in a flower bed to hold tools there or by a pool to hold pool tools and toys. Currently, we have decided to use this deck box to store some things that have been taking up room in our garage. Having them stored in this deck box is much more aesthetically pleasing. This thing holds a ton of stuff! We currently have a 30 qt cooler, 3 folding chairs, a child rocking chair, a speaker bar, and a box and it is NOT packed full. I feel like it could hold quite a bit more. I think my favorite part about this deck box is the strength of the hardware for the lid. It has shocks and they keep the lid open while you are loading or removing something so you don't get hit in the head. And then it closes securely and doesn't slam down. If you have any storage

I found it fairly easy to assemble with the labeled parts and detailed instructions. The deck box is very sturdy and seems durable. It is a pretty gray color and has a sleek modern design. I like how the front and back plastic texture feels similar to the texture of wood. The size of the box is perfect and my favorite feature is that it is lockable. I love that it is deep and spacious and can serve many uses for storage and extra seating. I keep it under a covered patio and use it to store garden tools, heavy duty yard cart, and outdoor cushions, with room to spare. Overall, I am happy to have this deck box.

Love the simple style of this deck box and how spacious it is. We’re using it to store our wood to protect it from the rain. One of my favorite features of the box is the spring loaded lid! It opens up smoothly and stays open for you to load and unload the box. It was pretty easy to put together with 2 people. The only confusing part was that the padlock didn’t line up. It offset the top lid so we ended up taking it off because we didn’t want to damage it. Not sure if it’s assembly error or that the padlock holes weren’t drilled out in the proper spot for our deck box. Thankfully we don’t need to lock up our firewood so it doesn’t matter all that much. Definitely recommend this deck box for any of your storage needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was packaged in such a way to ensure that no parts would be damaged during shipment. All parts were received in the shipping box. Moving the box takes either two (2) people (as the notification on the box indicates) or a dolly. I used a dolly to move the package to the back pool deck for unpacking and assembly. I unpacked all parts, took inventory and found all parts were accounted for. I found the directions to be well written and easy to follow. I made no assumptions therefore I followed the directions step-by-step. Assembly went without a hitch. Assembly time was approximately one (1) hour. The assembled deck box is very sturdy. It’s molded plastic design is structurally sound and will stand the test of time and teenagers. I am not certain what the weight limit is for standing on top of the assembled box but it can withstand at least 250#s without a hint of buckling on the lid. The amount of space inside te box is huge which will definitely come in handy for storage. We are using the deck box poolside to store all pool toys. The colors work well with the surroundings. Only time will tell what impact the South Texas sun will have on the dark gray front panel (would have preferred brown). I have had another Lifetime deck box with a dark brown lid for two (2) Texas summers and you would never know as the color has not faded in the least. I anticipate many years of use with the next deck box.
