This shed was surprisingly straightforward to put up, even for a couple of DIY novices. The video instructions were a lifesaver, breaking down each step in a really clear way. Honestly, we just followed along, and it all came together perfectly. Making sure the foundation was level made a huge difference. We're really happy with how it turned out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years my wife refused to let me bring in a shed because they were "big and ugly". She let me order this shed because it looked like a children's playhouse. It is very attractive with the gables over the door and the low profile appearance. I poured a concrete slab flush with the ground to eliminate any step-up. This made it only a foot taller than the privacy fence which my neighbor appreciated. You have to build it slowly and carefully by laying out all the parts and reading the instructions of each section more than once for clarity. Remove the center section of the manual (yellow) so you have the parts ID pages handy. I also viewed the appropriate section of the video watching each part's orientation and assembly. It took me 4 days, but this slow and careful approach saved me the frustration expressed by some reviewers. You must have a helper when you raise the walls, put on the gables & doors, install trusses & roof panels or mount the shutters. You will probably have to shim a corner or two to make the panels and doors line up perfectly during installation because no slab foundation is perfectly level. I also used an adjustable strap to pull the front door trusses together to make putting in the small bolts easier when I installed the roof brace. I added electricity by plugging in a ground contact 14 gauge wire into a landscape outlet and then wiring 2 surface mount outlets, 2 light fixtures and switch. I really have enjoyed this extra space to clean out my garage. The only deficiency is the doors do not have rubber sweeps or adjustable thresholds to keep out insects (or a small mouse). I bought these from Home Depot and installed them. I then caulked around the perimeter if there was a recess or gap in the floor molding where it met the wall to prevent ant access. Overall my wife and I love our new shed.

So stylish and has totally transformed our garden. The QR codes in the instruction manual which provided video clips of each stage were extremely helpful.Would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to house out kayaks and fishing equipment. Space is great. I have to agree with other reviews that the floor is an awful design. We have to buy plates to connects the pieces together to avoid tripping hazard. Other than that the shed is great. I took all the pieces and labeled everything with painters tape before beginning. We also laid the sheets out by the order they are needed. The video is a must because the manual doesn't show great visual. We didn't find very difficult to erect as far as the shed was concerned. I do hope lifetime works on a better floor. Two panels of three would have been better than 6 individual panels and more of a connector to actually lock them together would be great. All in all very happy with the product as I am with all Lifetime products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Lifetime shed! I decided to pour a concrete slab in my backyard for it and I am extremely satisfied with the decision. It has helped me organize a lot of things that I used to keep in my garage and now both spaces are much more functional. Assembly: The assembly process took some time, but it was not difficult. I found it helpful to watch the assembly video beforehand, which made the job go a lot smoother. The instructions are well laid out and guide you through each step. Although I was able to complete most of the work on my own, there were a few parts where I needed my wife's help as an extra set of hands. Due to bad weather conditions, I decided to assemble the gables, trusses, and doors in my garage the day before I put them all together. Initially, I questioned the structure of the shed, but with all of the steel reinforcements, I am impressed with how strong it is! Features: I was searching for a shed to better organize and store things, and this one is excellent for both purposes. I particularly like the layout of the shed, which comes with two sets of doors. I can store my lawnmower and other yard tools inside the doors on the short end while having access to everything else through the other doors. I appreciate the included hooks for the yard tools, but I found that it is easier to store them in a homemade organizer. The adjustable shelves are great! I only wish there were more of them. I was worried it might be too dark inside the shed, but I am pleasantly surprised with the amount of light that comes in through the end-to-end skylights and multiple windows. The decorative shades are a nice touch. While I haven't experienced the summer heat yet, I'm glad that the windows can be opened to allow for better ventilation. Appearance: I have gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the shed and how well it complements my backyard. I selected this color because of the contrasting two-tone. I was worried that the lighter color might be more yellow in person, however, I was pleased to see that it is a light gray. I like the texture, which makes it appear to be painted wood. Overall I’m very pleased with both the function and the look of our Lifetime shed. It was an easy build and is exactly what I was looking for to improve both our backyard and garage. I look forward to many years of enjoying our shed. I am very happy with the function and look of our Lifetime shed. The quality and style of the finished product is why I love Lifetime and will continue to assemble and use these sheds for outdoor storage. Assembly is always going to be a struggle when you’re dealing with something this large. So It is absolutely important that you follow the instructions exactly. Also, it is absolutely important that you have a flat surface. I was very impressed with how well everything lined up perfectly, but if your surface has portions that are not level, you’re going to have a hard time. A couple things that made the assembly a little harder: They put three different languages on each page of the instruction manual rather than having different portions of the manual dedicated to each language. This makes the assembly instructions unnecessarily busy. There was one particular instruction when assembling the floor, that I didn’t understand and caused a little extra time fixing that error. My fault in not understanding, but it would have been helpful if they had bold font the importance of this step like they do with some of the other important steps. It’s a little tough putting it together, but the finished product is completely worth it. The quality of the materials is perfect and I look forward to using this shed for garden and lawn care equipment. The style of shed fits in perfectly with my outdoor kitchen and patio.
