Great for all hobby projects

Good for arts and crafts projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the glue gun to repair a wall decoration that was broken. A piece had to be glued back on the material used for the project. The gun heated to temperature within a few minutes and the glued flowed appropriately. It was a great tool!

Gt300 is better

The gun itself is great. Heats and keeps up with a good flow rate. You can use it all day long. The issue I have with this is the flip stand. You can't dispense glue functionally unless you flip it out of the way. So you flip the stand, dispense your glue, and now what? You have a time limit because the glue is cooling, so you want to put the gun down and stick your stuff together. Now you need to use both hands to flip the stand down (or manipulate it awkwardly with one hand against a table or whatever). It doesn't set down easily, so you lay it on its side, and deal with the glued items. That stand is a bother. Laying it on its side is a bother. Instead, get a GT300 that has a functional stand, and is essentially the same glue gun as this. (I ordered a GT300, a 301 arrived) the 300 also has wings on the back, so if you lay it on its side, you can still pick it up easier, and drips are cleaner too.

Ease of Use

Used it to repair some broken items as well as some crafyys and it worked perfectly. Love the the high low option. This is a great feature most glue guns have one setting only and I also like that it has. Holy in stand and it comes with glue sticks as well.

Great glue gun for router sled projects
