  • A: The key to attaching the back cushion on the Christopher Knight Home Peyton Rubberwood Upholstered Bar Stool is to: 1. Align the backrest correctly with the pre-drilled holes in the seat frame. 2. Use all hardware provided — bolts, flat washers, and spring washers — and tighten evenly with the Allen wrench. 3. Make sure the backrest is slightly lifted and positioned straight so the bolts slide in easily; forcing it can misalign the holes. If it’s still difficult, contact our customer support — sometimes minor misalignment or shipping shifts need guidance from their team.

Obsessed

I am absolutely obsessed with these bar stools. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are also incredibly comfortable. My family agrees, which says a lot. They feel very durable and well made, and I really appreciated that they came with felt pads for the feet to protect the floors. Overall, they are definitely worth the purchase, and the brown color is the perfect shade. My only issues were with the assembly and a few small details. Attaching the backrest was extremely difficult, and the stickers provided to cover the screws do not match the wood color well. Additionally, the fabric leans more yellow than a true neutral beige, so next to my beige couch, the stools look noticeably different in tone. Also, keep in mind that these stools are on the wider side because of the arm bars, so you may not need as many depending on your space. I thought I would need 4 but I think the two fits perfectly
