A: The key to attaching the back cushion on the Christopher Knight Home Peyton Rubberwood Upholstered Bar Stool is to: 1. Align the backrest correctly with the pre-drilled holes in the seat frame. 2. Use all hardware provided — bolts, flat washers, and spring washers — and tighten evenly with the Allen wrench. 3. Make sure the backrest is slightly lifted and positioned straight so the bolts slide in easily; forcing it can misalign the holes. If it’s still difficult, contact our customer support — sometimes minor misalignment or shipping shifts need guidance from their team.
