Speakers work great, but it's disappointing that the app is required to play in "Party Mode" and the app can only be downloaded on very specific operating systems

Better than previous Boom
I own a previous version Boom and wanted an upgrade. This boom has a better sound, better battery and updated USB-C charging plug. The outdated micro USB plug on my previous boom was maddening.

It works
it works and has great sound, little nitpicky things like the instructions are hard to read because they are so small, it took me 10 min to figure out how to open the flap on the charging port. what i don't like is why do I need to use the app every time I want to turn it on an connect. I have it connected to 1 device. I use it once a week or so so maybe that's why but i should not have to use the app to connect i should be able to find it as a device with my tablet. Maybe it is user error, but it should be so simple like cheaper speakers or wireless buds.

Convenient Little speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speaker is smooth and sleek. It’s easy to use. It has a great sound. It doesn’t have that muffled vibration when you have it to the highest volume. It’s light enough that you can take it anywhere from the beach to a camping trip. The connectivity is easy, it’s through Bluetooth. I had no problems with it whatsoever. The battery life is decent for me.

It seems to be durable and I have not had to recharge it yet so the battery life lasts. It was easy to connect and stays connected. The sound quality is lacking and it does not get as loud as I had hoped. There is a bit of a muffled sound and not as crisp as other speakers on the market.

This would be the perfect portable speaker with the added tassel to carry it around. It lasts a long time off the charger, and it’s a very small and universal charger, making it easy to keep up with.

I included a screenshot from the app that shows some features like one touch play which will automatically start your playlist by tapping one button even if the speaker is off. You can connect multiple speakers for more of a party atmosphere and it has a feature in which you can speak to your part guests through your speaker. It also has standby mode which helps conserve your battery and in the app you can adjust all the sound settings you can imagine to curate the sound just for you!

Average performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I compared this to another speaker I have in the same price range and on most criteria, the Logitech performed worse. The sound quality is decent, it’s portable, good battery life. But in comparison, the other speaker had way better sound, would stand on both sides - vertical and horizontal. If I had to pick this wouldn’t be my first choice.
