Obviously, the 14-inch is better. I'm a larger person, so I have to make sure any frame can handle me. I ordered an 18-inch frame with a 4,500-pound capacity. That should work, right? Wrong! It fell apart within a year. It wasn't me who fell apart, but my wife's (she's about a quarter my size). The 14-inch frame with a 3,500-pound capacity is much stronger and much quieter. Highly recommended for larger people.

Easy to assemble and sturdy!
This bed frame is lightweight yet feels sturdy once assembled. Assembly was very simple, and the instructions were very clear. The ratchet wrench made tightening the bolts easy, saving effort and energy. I also love the underbed storage space. I bought the model that sits 18 inches off the ground.

Sturdy and easy to assemble
Since we haven't slept in it yet, we can't fully appreciate it yet. However, it comes with simple instructions. Assembly was very easy. It took two of us, one following the instructions while the other set it up, and it took about 20 minutes. It feels very sturdy and doesn't make any noise when you sleep on it. So far, it feels like a good deal. We chose it specifically for its sturdiness. It fits perfectly on our large, originally wooden bed frame.

Large 14" platform frame
purchased a 14-inch queen-size bed, and my headboard fits perfectly on this frame; I just had to buy longer bolts. It's a sturdy frame, but my frame does make some noise and moves away from my wall, sometimes requiring me to push the bed back against the wall. I move around a lot at night, and so does my boyfriend, so that might be why. I love this frame, and besides that, the storage underneath is great; I can store my clothes in containers. I can't do that with my other frames. I also like that it's reasonably priced and doesn't have a box spring; my mattress fits perfectly on top and doesn't move around on me. I've overlooked the issues I've found, and I highly recommend this frame. It's easy to assemble and very sturdy.

A little bit crooked, but no one is perfect
If you're putting it together on your own, it's a bit tricky to assemble. The center section is slightly bent, which makes it difficult to screw in. However, considering the mattress and my weight, the slightly shaky crossbar isn't a big deal. Other than that, it's been great, aside from a slight wobble when I moved it. If you place it on carpet, it might wobble a bit, but it shouldn't tip over. I'm giving it a 4 for the fussiness and the slight bend. It comes with screws, a wrench, and instructions, but there are only pictures, no text, so you'll need to use some of your imagination.

This bed frame fits my queen-size mattress perfectly and is a perfect fit. It took me 20 minutes to assemble the entire bed frame; it was so easy. There's no sag or creaking in the frame. It's very stable, and the mattress doesn't slide around. I don't need a fancy or expensive bed frame, just one that's as comfortable as this one. I highly recommend this bed frame; it's an excellent value.

Better than our old framework
It's very sturdy and relatively easy to assemble. Thankfully, the bed frame doesn't slide around on our wood floors. We can also store a lot of stuff under the bed. It supports my husband and I, who weigh about 500 pounds. No box springs needed! The only downside is that our mattress slides around on the bed frame. The plastic stoppers on the top four sides of the bed frame prevent it from sliding, but they fall off easily, which is annoying.
