[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is not able to dispense the used coffee (the coffee puck) to the waste bin. The coffee is stuck in the coffee brewer after every use. This is super frustrating. I have cleaned it every day for week since it started occurring and descaled it. I can no longer use it. It is just 1.5 years old.

I found it very easy to use... while awaiting its arrival I watch the short & informative videos, of which were sufficient functional knowledge for my espresso machine's arrival and immediate use. I've been using it for 2 weeks and it just keeps getting better. I found the interface intuitive with minimal instruction, and I had no issues getting my app to connect with the machine. I typically pull 2-3 shots of espresso a day, and the capacity allows me to go a few days without adding more beans or water. Cons: The sensor that triggers the "Empty Waste" indicator, because it triggers inconsistently. The cobstruction of the steamer wand tilts to the 5 o'clock position instead on being straight vertically (6 o'clock).
What are you waiting for? Best automatic espresso!

It’s simple to use and tastes phenomenal. It is easy to use the app too and it notifies when water needs a refill or when grinds need to be emptied. It’s looks great on the counter and is literally an empty nesting mama’s dream appliance.

This can occur when the machine runs out of water and the water tank is still wet. The add water button alert will display paired with the hot water button. To prime the pump, you can refill the tank, dry off the outside of the tank, and then run a hot water cycle until the air is cleared. I've had good luck with the GE Profile Espresso Machine with Frother for 18 months with next to no issues. Cleaning is relatively easy and no complaints about size and weight as I don't have it under a cabinet, refilling water is no issue. I thought it was built well, weighs quite a bit more than my pod espresso machine. It started collecting water in puck bin, just like reviewer "regretful_purchase" from 2 months ago, now, its leaking espresso around the dispenser similar to the reviewer Stu67's 3-month old review of Cafe Affetto. I would recommend this for its simplicity if longevity isn't an issue.

Worked fine and then a clicking noise started. Won't brew and won't dispose the grinded coffee. Tried calling support and got "we don't support small appliances". Tried ordering the part and been waiting for 3 months with the time constantly being changed.

Makes great coffee. Fantastic aesthetic. Does not last. After one the hose that delivers the coffee became disconnected. I was able to dissemble it and repair it on my own. It was a weak hoes clamp that failed. Luckily I am quite handy and have tools to do this myself. I fixed it and began using it again. After two more months the unit began leaking water. I was able to dissemble it to discover that two water delivery gaskets failed. One in the water tank and a second one in the water deliver system. GE does not sell these. I cannot order them and there is no description available to find out what kind they are. If I had paid full price for the machine I would be furious. Instead I am left incredibly disappointed. Such a shame. Seems to be a pattern amongst reviewers. I was expecting a much longer lifespan from GE's machine. Avoid this hard to find unit.

This is the easiest, most low maintenance espresso machine I’ve ever used. I LOVE making coffee every morning now, and the ease of cleaning is so nice. I also only have to fill the water/beans very rarely - it holds so much water and beans! Amazing machine that works beautifully!

I’ve had this machine (no frother) for 4 months. Everything wonderful. Then this morning it ground beans and stopped. Said check coffee brewer. Coffee beans all over the place inside )(I clean weekly) so I removed coffee brewer to empty and clean. Now it won’t go back in. Something is not lined up I think. I’ve unplugged etc but can’t get the flashing check brew unit to stop. I think it needs a hard off but can’t do it.

This machine was working fine for a year and a half, but then whenever I steam milk, an excessive amount of steam comes out of the side of the machine and the grind pucks have become very watery. I have seen others complain about internal leaks online. It's a shame because it made a great cup of coffee. One would expect that spending such an amount of money on a coffee machine would at least get a couple of years of use. These issues started literally 4 months after the warranty expired.

Easy to use. But I like my coffee strong, and I have to stir the beans constantly to be sure they feed into the grinder on the small setting. I also make 4 shots of espresso for one latte, so although slower than the fancy expensive machines, it is faster than manual!

Set up was super easy. Especially when connecting to the SmartHQ app. I love that I can save the setting of my perfect coffee to the app in my phone. The grind settings are very easy to use to help you get your perfect grind. So far this has been a great purchase, and my morning starts out with the perfect cup of coffee.
