Fan on High speed is fine but… Medium fan setting is no faster than the Low setting. Very Disappointing. I would not recommend. The reason for 2 stars is because it looks good.

Nice, quiet fans. Easy to install. I had one of these fans in my office and replaced another five throughout the house with the same for an updated look.

This fan was easy to install and looks very nice in the room. The white version almost "disappears" in the white guest room that it is installed in. One guest has used the fan on high, which he had hoped to use for noise, but this didn't happen. It did create quite a breeze, but not enough noise for him. So, if you are in the market for a noisy fan, this one isn't it. But if you are looking for a non obtrusive and quiet fan/light combo for a good price, I recommend putting the Anslee on the short list. That being said, the Anslee has 3 fan settings. There is quite a difference between the medium and high fan settings. In an every day use situation, it would be nice to have the medium setting a little stronger or have 4 fan settings like some of the other models do.

I would not buy this fan again. Engineering was poor at best. I have installed 100s of fans, including hunter fans, this one was a bad design. Trim ring does not sit snug enough. Directions say to "leave at least 8 inches of wire extending from the top of the canopy". I had about 5 inches to start with. The angled fan blade attachment point requires you to put the fan blade screws in at an angle instead of engineering the connection point properly. The directions on page 7 say to screw two screws into the motor housing and it does not matter what two of the three holes you use. Well it does matter because they will not line up if you pick the wrong holes. The light kit assembly is scary. It is a wad of very short wires that you have to get through to set 3 screws. The junction box is way too small and heavy. And per a sticker on the light kit assembly if you break the globe you have to replace the entire light kit assembly. The globe, which is made of that peanut brittle glass, screws on loosely. Why not plastic? The LED bulbs are the incandescent shape. They are held in place by the old school ceramic sockets. What??? The light provided from them is dim at best.

The fan itself is of high quality, but the installation experience is not. 1. Installing the blades is very difficult because it's challenging to line up the holes in the blades to the holes in the motor arms that hold them while screwing them together. 2. Installing the light kit underneath is very hard because the hole for the third assembly screw is both difficult to see (as it's a couple of inches up into the housing) and extraordinarily hard to access (imagine balancing a screw atop a screwdriver, dodging through wiring, to a hole that's barely visible and may be misaligned). 3. The 9-pin plug connector is difficult to connect because there's not enough slack in the wiring to be able to manipulate the plugs within the tight housing. Lastly, it seems like a design flaw that the glass globe needs to be removed in order to reverse the fan direction.

The old fan I took down was so heavy and bulky. This fan is the perfect size and is so much lighter! The 46” is perfect for my small living room. It’s very quiet and of course has a great cool breeze!

Had Master Electrician hang fan. Light did not work and he confirmed it was fan, not wall switch. Promptly notified Hunter. Over several days Hunter asked questions, but no offer to replace anything. Do not buy!

I purchased this fan a year ago for my bedroom. I have been so pleased with it that I purchased two more recently for other rooms in my home. It is quiet, efficient and very stylish.

looks great..bright light…four stars if it had a remote room is 11 by 9. great airflow.

This is a very quiet fan that was pretty easy to install. It sits fairly close to my ceiling and moves a lot of air.

I bought five of these fans, different sizes for a remodel of my home. They look great. I didn’t see ANY notifications in description that “TO REVERSE BLADES you need to remove the light”. Electrician brought to my attention. I would not have purchased these if I was aware of this feature (or lack of). I see broken glass in my future come summer.

This is a sweet fan for a small bedroom—quiet, hugs the ceiling. We’ve bought lots of Hunter fans over the years and none has disappointed. This is no exception.

This is a good quality fan for the price it is sold for. It's not as quiet as my other Hunter fan that I just replaced but it gives me the headroom I need. The wiring instructions are obviously for a modern home but I figured it out. I won't take this fan with me when we move because it was too hard to get those fan blades on.

Nice looking light, better than expected BUT the actual light put out is minimal. The frosted globe mutes the light way too much. A bit of a waste since i now have to buy more light fixtures for the room. Defeated the purpose of buying an led light.

Quiet fan with great output. Installation was definitely a 2 person job - especially with the blades being in the housing, but overall was fairly easy.

It had class look to room. Hunter brand means you're getting good quality.

I really like this fan, the way it looks and it's nice and quiet. It was however, the most difficult fan I have installed especially the blades. Because you have to attach the blades inside the housing it is difficult to line everything up to screw the blades in place.

The fan is attractive and works well, but it was extremely difficult to install. The instructions do not show all the wiring inside the fan, and the third screw to attach the light unit to the fan was impossible get started. I had to unscrew and move one of the pull chain switches to get to the hole for the screw. Very poorly designed for installation purposes.

I've installed countless ceiling fans in my day, this was fairly easy, with the exception of the screws attaching the light kit to the motor. Too many wires in the way!!! Other than the location of reverse switch being poorly designed, I like the fan. It's nice looking, works well and is quiet. I'd add a picture, but you know what a ceiling fan looks like.
