Cooler works great. But when the cord goes out I can’t find a replacement for the cooler they sent. They only offer one version on the site but send an oddball cooler with no replacement available. 😡😡

the end of the cable that goes into the cigarette lighter came apart (unnoticed) and lost the internals (cap screw , washer, fuse and spring.) the unit itself worked great beforehand. but cannot use now. Can you help me find a replacement .

Need more detailed info and photos
Very disappointed that while the site showed only one replacement cord, this one did not fit our recently purchased cooler. The one we need is not available. The post for selling the cord should include a photo of the end of the cord since different ones fit thermal coolers with the same names.

Cooler cords doesn’t fit!!!
The cords didn’t fit into the cooler! I bought a new cooler. The cord shorted out, and I bought 3 other cords as a replacement. They didn’t fit!!!

Wear Out Prematurely
I've had the same Igloo 40QT thermoelectric cooler for over ten years now as an over the road truck driver and it's been rock solid and far better than the competition. However, the weakest spot on these coolers is the power cable. The springs that hold the plug steady in the 12v socket are not strong enough to handle being plugged in 24/7/365 so I learned not to trust my Igloo was running all the time and had to constantly check it. New cords are great, but within a handful of weeks, the problem happens again. I never had this issue with the C-branded cooler, but those never lasted as long as my Igloo which I have passed on to my husband who uses it weekly as he is a truck driver as well. I've considered it a normal maintenance item for this unit, and I always keep one or two spares handy. Please don't stop making them Igloo!

Didn’t fit my cooler model.
In the photos I couldn’t see the cooler connection properly. I took a chance hoping it was a 1 male connection. It turned out it was 2 female connection. Hope this helps.

Excellent Power cord!
The cord is excellent! The only problem I have is that I had to wait so long for it to be in stock.
