Has a good gravy texture, not overly thick. Generous serving portion, will definitely buy it again.

It had a very gelatinous texture to it, and the flavor was a bit bland. If I was to use it again, I would add seasoning to it, but then I could just use their seasoning to make the gravy. Not a winner in my book.

Very hearty gravy and taste was amazing. Also like that it comes in a jar, so I can use as much or as little as I want. Will definitely get more.

I usually buy the powdered gravy packets so the better than gravy jar was a new experience for me. The instructions are simple, you can heat in a saucepan or microwave. I wanted to try using the microwave since these pre made gravy’s are all about time and efficiency. I simply placed it in a microwave safe bowl and microwaved for 2 minutes. The gravy came out bubbling and smelled delicious. I poured it over some potatoes and served it. Almost immediately, it turned thick and goopy. Which isn’t the worst thing but my husband didn’t love the texture. Flavor-wise it was really good. The spices were strong and really went well with the seasoning of the potatoes and steak. If you’re okay with thick gravy, then you’ll love this gravy. I like that if you don’t want to use it all in one day, you can store it in the fridge for 5 days.

Off the bat I love how easy it is to prepare this gravy! Just put it into a pot and cook until heated thoroughly! The flavor was excellent and everyone who tried it at dinner loved it! These jarred gravy’s are perfect for a quick weeknight meal and by adding a bit of pan drippings from the roast of your choice could really wow a crowd! I love the consistency of this gravy not too thin not too thick! Overall I love this gravy and will be picking up more products from better than gravy and better than bouillon!

The packaging was simple and effective. The texture from the microwave was a little off for me. It was like almost gooey. The flavor was OK. I wish it had more oomph.

Soft, spicy, reminds me of Campbell's cream soups. Just disgusting.The packaging of this sauce is very convenient. It can be easily poured back into the jar so that there is no sediment left. Given the above, this is the best thing I can say about this sauce. I've tried other sauces in cans, but this one is one of the most tasteless. This is very disappointing in this brand. The sauce does not contain any of the herbs or spices listed in the ad. This is one of the last sauces that I would recommend for cooking
