Q: Can it be installed on tiles

  • A: Yes, the Seachrome Stainless Steel Wall Mount Grab Bar can be installed on tile walls. However, the tile itself is not sufficient to support the grab bar. For a safe and secure installation, the grab bar must be mounted through the tile and into a minimum of 2" thick solid wood backing located behind the wall. If you are unsure whether your wall has adequate wood backing, we recommend consulting a qualified installer before purchase or installation.
