Hamilton Beach Durathon Nonstick Soleplate Iron 19800F

Needed a replacement iron that would handle our delicate plus being ablento have vertical steam with a auto off. This fits the need.

I’m really happy with the choice to purchase the Hamilton Beach Durathon iron.

I love this model of a Hamilton Beach Iron. I'm old fashion and iron every week, even my pillowcases. This iron heats up fast, moves smoothly across the fabric, is light, and has an extra long cord. There are also lots and lots of steam holes on the bottom, a feature that is lacking in most steam irons. It has a cover over the water compartment so there is no splashing out with fast moves. Good price also.

Great iron but the instructions don’t say how to use the self cleaning feature

Nice long cord, good heft, easy to use, works well. The large faceplate enables me to get through my ironing quicker.

Work's nice and easy to use. My only thing is. It would be much easier if you had it so people could just put in the Month, Day and Year of their birth. Not having to go back through a calendar, Month by Month. Thanks

Love the fact that it steams well and that it’s nonstick!

I purchased this iron yesterday because my previous iron, which had lasted for many years, had finally given up the ghost. This new one seems like a very nice replacement. I wanted something with a nonstick soleplate and that would deliver a lot of steam to remove wrinkles. I chose this one because it promised to produce a lot of steam and came with a 10 year limited warranty. I used it when I got home and was pleased, although it may be a bit heavier than I had anticipated.

So far, the 19800F has been a good iron. I purchased as my Rowenta failed (leaky and auto off was having problems by not turning back on. The features of this iron were similar to the Rowenta so I’m trying it out. I like the Rowenta slightly better in terms of feel, but not enough to spend so much to get only 5 or 6 years from it. I’m hopeful that this iron will be not leak.

I love that it gives off plenty of steam and it’s and durable iron.

Title says it all - went to use the iron the other night like I’d done many times before and the red light went on and stayed on, and the iron never heated up. Would like a replacement.

Needed it right away and similar to my last one except couldnt find that one. Settled for this but wish it had a retractable cord.

It is made to last up until the warranty is over. I had problems with the cord. It shorted out. But over all its a nice and uncomplicated iron.

It is affordable iron and easily removed wrinkles

This is a wonderful iron, quality build and quality result. Would not just buy again, would actively recommend to friends and family. Portable enough to travel, but large enough and effective enough for daily home use as well. Good job Hamilton Beach
