Great warm drink
Like that the recommendation calls out that the water you mix it with can range from cold to warm hot. Adore how it can make a wonderful warm beverage - it is like a condensed version of sipping bone broth but with even more protein per serving.

decent bone broth powder
I enjoy the flavor of this bone broth powder. To me, it has a rich chicken flavor similar to other powdered bone broths that I have bought in the grocery store.Just like the other powders that I have tried, it will clump a bit when mixed with hot water. To get a clump free broth, I mix it with room temp water by shaking it in a jar. Then I pour it into a cup and heat. I add a bit of butter for a tasty, light meal. Finally, I think this product saves me a little more money compared to other powders. The nutricost powder has a higher price per serving but also offers nearly 50% larger servings (based on weight). So, this product saves me a few cents per serving over the packets that I have bought.

So gross to me
It had such a strong chicken flavor; I'd never had bone broth before, maybe it always tastes like that. I'd say, don't do what I did; make sure you like bone broth before buying this. I took one sip, and listed it on buy nothing. It was a little hard to get dissolved, like most protein powder, but it did dissolve with lots of stirring.

Interesting way to get protein
I have been using this in Chicken Ramen. I boil the water, add this powder, and try to mix it up before adding the noodles. It doesn't mix super easily, but once it does it adds a nice flavor to the ramen. Adding 20g of protein to something that usually has very little nutritional value is great, especially with a teenage son in the house that will currently eat almost nothing but ramen... Has a fairly strong, odd smell, but flavor is nice.

Chicken flavor taste
Nutricost Chicken Bone Broth Protein Powder, Chicken Flavor (16.4 oz, Pack of 1, 20 Servings)This product looks, smells, and tastes like chicken powder. I haven't had a lot of success using bone broth powder on its own, having tried a beef powder before. I'll use this to add protein to soups and casseroles, rather than drinking it dissolved in water. Although the jar is large, it arrives only half full. A smaller container would save space on my shelf and still contain all the powder.

Ok flavor but high in sodium
This bone broth protein powder tastes okay, but I did notice it's pretty high in sodium. The flavor is decent, especially if you're using it in soups or other recipes. However, there's not much in the container for the price—just 20 servings, so it runs out faster than I expected. If you're looking for a protein boost, it works, but the amount and sodium content are worth considering depending on your dietary needs.

Good for shelf stable bone broth
I make my own bone broth fairly often, but like this for periods when I'm too busy to do a lot of cooking and don't have the bones to make it from scratch. No, it's not as good as fresh bone broth. But it is super convenient and has most if not all of the benefits. The flavor is pretty basic, but it can easily be dressed up with some garlic and herbs to make a pretty decent quick broth to add some veggies and chicken chunks for a basic soup.

Great way to add extra protein to soup
I've used it to make broth for my soup and it is an easy way to add more protein. Just added a little extra seasoning my soup was absolutely delicious. However, drinking it by itself in a cup may not be the best idea. It has a weird taste. Not bad, just taste like a cup full of broth.

Soup, seasoning plus protein
This is a decent product. It has some weird things that give me pause so I'll list those. I've added it when preparing food as a salt/flavor plus protein addition. Both as a soup and in beans or other stir fry food. It was a good addition to our taco night. Don't think of this as a protein powder - you really don't want to drink this cold (the package suggests this option, but I wholeheartedly disagree).Pros:- 19.5g protein per scoop- bone broth, think of it as a soup. Boil water, pour it in a bowl and mix this in.- combine to add flavor to other foods. Flavor is decent though a little bitter. Smells fine.Neutral:- Front says 20g protein per serving, back on the full nutritional panel it says 19g.- contains almost 500mg sodium per serving (490)Cons;- slightly bitter taste- some small chunks tend to not blend wellOverall, I recommend this as a seasoning or soup mix.

Tasty and protein packed!
I am a huge fan of bone broth, but it normally goes bad in the fridge waiting for me to finish it. This stuff is so easy and convenient that I'm not going back to the liquid kind. It is like comfort in a glass, but is also filling. It mixes well, no weird gritty texture either. Overall I highly recommend!

A great source of protein and collagen... great for hair, nails, and skin.
A great source of protein and collagen... great for hair, nails, and skin. Nutricost is a trusted brand in my book, I've used a good handful of their products over the years and I've always had a good experience. This chicken bone broth is a high quality mix, that's straight forward and non complicated... it's just the broth protein powder, with some spices, natural flavors and Himalayan rock salt. One scoop which is 22 grams of product, gives you 19 grams of real protein. This is made in the USA which is an important factor for me. Great product.

Nice soothing flavor!
Rich chicken bone broth with a good amount of protein per cup. Mixes well in hot water and is a really nice, soothing drink especially on chilly mornings. I've enjoyed this on its own as well as a mix in addition to a bowl of chicken soup. You could easily add to any savory chicken soup, gravy or bake. Nutricost quality doesn't disappoint! Size of canister could be smaller to match ingredient amount without so much extra plastic.

I've been buying another bone broth much more expensive because it tastes better but decided to try this one. It's so delicious and has more protein than the other. It's really good!

Easy to make. Very good tasting. Makes a great soup base or cup of broth.
I am happy with this. This is a bone broth that contains 19 grams of protein per serving. There are 20 servings in a container. Each scoop is about 1/4 cup of powder. To try it out:I mixed it with approximately 10 ounces of hot water. It did take a little bit of time to dissolve. It did dissolve completely.I also tried it as a soup base for my lunch soup. My lunch soups are nothing fancy but just a way to watch what I am putting in my body. Adding the protein powder boosts my protein for the day.In both cases, this bone broth has a very good chicken noodle soup like flavor. There are no odd tastes. It is easy to drink. It isn't overly salty. I didn't have to add more salt to add flavor.I found it great in making a lunch soup. It was also very good drinking by itself. My preference is definitely as a lunch soup. This is an easy 5 stars. 19 grams of protein. Easy to make. Makes a great base and a great cup of broth.

Tasty, and also zero fat, and basically zero carb, plus loads of protein
Unlike many chicken bone broth powders that I have tried, this one is very flavorful. I basically use this as a soup base for ramen, but mostly shirataki noodles. A serving of this amounts to 20 grams of protein, and so this comes in very handy when it comes to stacking protein to reach target daily protein goals, and without piling on carbs and fat. Also, this mixes very easily, and the powder is (savory) tasty on its own with hot water, or when used as a base or flavoring to prepare a meal.

tastes like soup
This is great to usesince the high protein doesn't make it taste bad. Some people do not care for sweets and shakes so having a savory one is great. This tastes like a soup mix from those cup soups. I like to add this to dishes I make to add protein for my son whi=o doesn't eat that much and need the protein. IT doesn't make the food taste bad and is perfect to add to soups as well. It does take a little effort to mix in, but it is worth the hassle for myself and my family. Such a great idea.

Good sipping broth
Bone broth can be hit or miss for me - some of them taste truly awful and others are pretty close to regular broth. This bone broth falls into the latter category and makes a nice sipping broth. The jar is large and I have small hands, so after removing the cellophane safety collar, I had to work a bit to get the lid off. There is an inner freshness/safety seal as well. A serving is one scoop, mixed with 8-10 ounces of water, so the first order of business was digging out the scoop. I used a butter knife to fish around the powder until I hit the scoop and then popped it to the top. The scoop is big! One serving is 1/4 cup of powder. I added it to a mug and then added hot water to fill the mug, which is probably about 10 or 12 ounces. The powder dissolved with a bit of serving. The broth tasted like regular broth but had a slightly bitter taste also, that I sometimes notice in bone broth. Once I sipped all of it, there was a little bit of deposits left in the cup, but not bad. The taste was not overly salty, which I appreciate.

Protein Rich, But Bitter Tasting, Bone Broth
I like very much that this bone broth offers up 20g of protein in every serving. I like the plastic container with its easy to close lid. And I like the non-GMO pedigree. The taste, however, is quite bitter. Personal taste varies, but my recommendation, if ordering this, is to doctor it up till it's palatable. I squeezed some turmeric honey and half a lemon into it and that made it a lot easier to use.
