The newest addition to our kitchen since I was always trying to separate our trash. My husband and I love ours!

True black stainless color. Large size. Can position at the end of a kitchen island with slim width. Slow close feature is nice.

The plastic hinge broke which makes the trash can....well... trash.

Works well when everything works. Mine stopped working the other day. It turned out that a plastic hinge that holds the lid broke off….not repairable as far as I can see. I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew enough to check out the critical functional pieces for their design and quality of material.

This plastic piece the the back breaks easily and can not support lifting the can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stainless steel is clean and shiny! Everyone that walks into my home says “that’s a nice garbage can”. Weird I know, but I have to agree with them. The foot pedal operates great and hasn’t given any problems yet. It seems to do well at keeping odors in and not floating around the house. My favorite part about this is the can on the inside has vent holes, when you put a bag in it didn’t trap any air. Great product, so far no issues.

I had one prior that bent up and we couldn't get the bag out and it was not a good one , this one however is such an improvment ! The insert slides right out so it can be emptied easily. My kids are much happier about taking out the trash now . The step button lifts the lid and let's if down slowly as not to slam it . Also you can open it all the way up and it stays open for you for easy clean up. I have it under the edge of my island but the over hang hit it because of the way it opened do keep that in mind as it opens the long way . Fits normal. 13 gallon trash bags and they don't slide down at all.

I love the tab to secure the bag so it doesn’t fall in. The stainless exterior is easy to clean and resist fingerprints of my toddler well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size when you have an empty narrow spot, or next to any cabinet. Step on pedal on the bottom to open . While in the open position you can push it back a little more and it will stay in the open position. Nice stainless steel goes with every decor. Great size. I use this for my recyclables. It has a plastic bin inside to hold garbage or recyclables. Constructed very good.

I never thought I would hear myself say that but this Home Zone Living Stainless Steel 45L Pedal Bin Garbage Can is very sleek with just the right amount of shine. I got the black color but it isn’t actually black, more like a muted silver/brown/copper if that makes sense. It looks fabulous regardless. I can feel that it is truly metal unlike some others I have come across. The size is perfect for my family of 4. I like the rectangle shape and the way the lid opens on the side, I find it fits into spaces extremely well. It cleans super easy, bags come in and out without snags, it has a rubber liner you can remove for easy cleaning, as well as a very quiet close lid. The only downfall I have with it is I am having trouble fitting my 13 gallon bags inside as stated so I have to use the next size up which is 30 gallon. Not sure if it is user error but I think it has something with the design. Not a big enough issue to inconvenience my life I was just surprised they didn't fit. With that said I recommend the Home Zone Living Stainless Steel 45L Pedal Bin to anyone looking for a sleek garbage can that can still hold lots without taking up much space.

It's perfect to keep kitchen odors minimized, as well as has a great stay put rim for the trash bag. I love that the lid will stay partially open as an option as well. The shape is clean lines are great and it holds a ton of trash. I couldn't be happier with the quality.
