Ninja OG850 Grill & Smoker | Outdoor Woodfire Pro XL

Bought this in the Boxing Day sales and so happy with it! Have not tried the Air fryer function but it appealed to me rather than using this inside with the inevitable splatter. Love the way the grill cooks and also the Smoked Chicken a huge success!

It looks and sounds like a great idea. It is very powerful and cooks super quick which is great. Followed a recipe for a roast 200c and in 40mins for a 1 kilo beef roast (it was a cheap cut so more like two pieces with split down the middle). Killed it completely, way over done and the next day leftovers where as dry as a dead dingos...... Recommend reducing the heat and or time when cooking. Still hopeful and this was our first cook. Have seen other reviews that have other meat types drying out as well.

Had mine for a year now and it's great. It won't replace my smokers busy is great for quick cook ups and roast lamb and chickens etc and while 5 potatoes and kuumara. The only thing that sucks on it is the crisper basket. It's too difficult to clean so I just don't use it at all. Food gets stuck on the wire netting holes. Should have designed it like that previous version.

Absolutely ridiculous that the Australian version doesn't have duel thermometer cooking or app connectivity like the US version. Should not be permitted to sell an inferior version in other countries.

The instructions don't match the product I purchases. It does not come with wifi. Hard to set up. How can you sell a product in australia with the wrong instructions. Also registering your product is a nightmare and does not work. Ai can't even help me at this point. Maybe should of looked carefully for the 900 version instead of 850

Used it twice and is total rubbish - the cooking guide details and times way off, doesn't even give a nice grill texture to steaks guide says 15min ends up been more like 60min and then turns the goods steaks into boot leather. I worked for many years as a cook and can always cook an awesome steak this thing biggest piece of junk I have even bought. And can't even get all the additional items it shows on the side of the box when you buy it.

Since we have had the product we have loved everything about it. The 3 out of 5 stars was to do with the upsell of the cover for the appliance. As we are leaving the appliance outside on our balcony we decided to get the cover to help protect it, however when we got it we found that it does not fully fit. Today we had some strong wind and it has managed to blow the cover off and over the balcony and is now gone.

I love my Ninja! I had to sell my smoker when I moved into an apartment and then discovered this. I was a bit skeptical but I took the plunge. I’m glad I did. It’s so much easier to use than a smoker and it’s completely foolproof, so I’ve had better results with the ninja than I did my traditional smoker. I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Best investment ever. Easy to use, very functional and most especially easy to clean! Super love it!
