A: If you plan to place the mattress inside the Murphy bed, a tri-fold mattress with a thickness of 6 inches is recommended. If not stored inside, a mattress between 10–14 inches is suggested.

Great, but took a while to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was somewhat hard to put together, but it is functional when you do. It can easily open. I suggest getting longer screws. I think the ones that come with it are a bit too small. Don't have to, but it would add more support.

Nice Murphy bed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great Murphy bed. I really love how it allowed us to open up more space in one of our smaller rooms. Does not come with a mattress (so excuse the pillows stored in the cabinet in the video as we haven’t bought one yet). The materials feel sturdy. It was easy to assemble and came with clear step by step instructions - it took me about 3 hours to put it together by myself. I would definitely recommend moving it to the place you want to have it prior to putting the drawers in as it’s a lot heavier with the drawers.

Great for a small space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is pretty awesome I think. While it did sustain very minor cosmetic damage in shipping it went together easily. I had no issues, everything lined up correctly and all parts were present. There is plenty of room to store all the bedding. We opted to get a mattress pad and air mattress, so your mileage on space may very. The bottom pull out drawer space is also very spacious. I am thinking of adding some sliders to the front of the drawer as it drags a little on carpet.

Make sure you have powertools

It took me a while to build I definitely recommend power tools and to drill the pre drilled holes in more with the according screw. Make sure you look at the manual multiple times before committing.
