Well made!
Very good and fast system. Well built feels sturdy. The only issue I have is with the WIFI. The Realtek card often drops it's connection and takes multiple attempts to get back online.

Meh.
I just plain do not like it. I especially do not like that plate that has no left click right click. It's weird.I bought this because I wanted a fast computer with a lot of memory. This computer has that. I wanted to migrate some of my programs and files from my HP Pavillion laptop, but I have no clue how to do that. That being said, the computer has some great points. It starts up in an acceptably fast time and shutting it down is very good, too. I seems to handle my financial programs very well and, in short, when it does what I want it to do, I love the thing. I also purchased it because I believe in HP and I like the computers and printers they make. Just can't stand that plate that interferes with typing . Maybe go back to what you had on the Pavillion. If there was a problem, you could turn off the cursor control on the top of the computer and type without a glitch. I strongly recommend buying a mouse for this thing if you buy it. Also,, why a dedicated button for OMEN and a shortcut that does precisely the same thing? Makes no sense to me.That's about it.

Long-Time HP user
I have been using HP Laptops for my business and personal usage since 2011 and I can attest to how tough they are. I travel with them and while the outer shell cracked after 5 years, the underlying die-cast frame never took a dent. I like large displays, and that allows for keyboards with numeric sections. If they ever made one with tactile feedback microswitches I would toss my brand new one here for that.

Fantastic graphics and screen
Great notebook, but the keyboard is lacking for a gaming notebook. Very fast and handles games that tax the Xbox with ease.

Replaced my old HP 1050
Bought this to replace an old HP Gaming laptop running a 1050 NVIDEA GPU. Games I could no longer play like No Mans Sky and Red Dead Redemption run great on it!

New Purchase
We love the computer. It boots up rocket fast. I have used it on battery for as much as 8 hours before needing to charge. I am still getting used to the feel of this laptop vs. my old one. So far it has lived up to the hype.

Terrible wifi card
The Realtek 8852BE-VT wireless Lan wifi card has very large latency issues which makes gaming impossible.

Great Product After A Rocky Start
I customized this 17-inch HP Omen to ensure I got the hardware and performance I wanted, and it was delivered ahead of schedule. My laptop has the AMD Ryzen AI 9 chipset with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The laptop has a 6-cell 83 Wh lithium-ion battery and an RGB backlit keyboard. Unfortunately, the operating system crashed during the initial setup. Since it had not been registered HP, none of the HP support systems recognized the machine’s serial number and could not provide support. Even though I had purchased an HP Care Pack, I had to pay an outside vendor to help me get it up and running. Reloading the operating system and updating all of the drivers fixed the issue. Despite the software glitch and lackluster automated support from HP, once I got it up and running, it has been an outstanding value. The performance and graphics are great and I am glad to have the number pad back (my previous 16-inch Omen laptop had omitted it). It boots up quickly and the battery lasts longer than my previous laptop. I was pleasantly surprised that even though it is a big laptop, it does not feel any heavier than my 16-inch laptop. Overall, I would highly recommend this product. I have been an HP customer for years and next to my Omen desktop, this laptop has great performance. I would have given it five stars if not for the startup and support issues.

Solid Laptop with One Caveat
I customized an OMEN 17" laptop with a Ryzen 9 AI processor, RTX 5070 GPU, 32 GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD specifically to run MSFS 2024. Overall, I'm very pleased with the build quality and how well it handles Flight Simulator for my needs. I would have given it five stars had I known that the RTX 5070 is not quite able to handle MSFS 2024 on ultra graphics settings at 1440p well. It provides playable performance at medium or lower settings. This isn’t a fault of HP, but I mention it to inform serious gamers of the limitation. This is my 4th HP laptop and I have always appreciated HP support on the rare occasions I have needed it.

HP Omen gaming laptop
I am not a high-tech guru. However, I will say that this laptop is decent. I isn't as fast as I thought it would be, but it's ok. The battery only goes an hour or less while not on the charger and then needs to be charged. Hopefully, they work on that. This is my first time purchasing a new laptop and I did do some research for 6 months prior. This is what I found in budget.

Good machine, but not for me
This is a well made laptop but it lacks three features I want in a laptop: an IR webcam, which is required to login to Windows with facial recognition; a backlit keyboard, to avoid having the printed-on letters rub off after a few years; and a built-in DVD player, which HP has dropped from its product line.

Great computer.
My son is enjoying this computer. Took it to college. Has everything he needs and more. Would definitely buy again.
