Switch to the scarifier reel when you need to cut deeper and remove thicker thatch layers. Once the appropriate reel is in place, changing the depth of the tines is just as simple as adjusting a simple lever on the dethatcher. Choose from one of 4 depth positions to reach the thatch layer in the lawn. Getting started is a breeze; the dethatcher starts hassle-free by simultaneously engaging the push button and bail handle.
