Disappointed
Bought this as a replacement. Compares poorly to chair purchased at big box home improvement store. It's attractive, but it seems almost like a kid's chair because it's so light-weight. Royal Blue fabric was a nice color, but very stiff. Not at all comfortable on my back. Delivery was as promised and returning it to my local Target was very easy.

It was sturdier than it appeared; I was impressed.
When I first received the product, I was afraid it wouldn't hold up to much weight. I was wrong. One friend, at 230 lbs sat on it w/o problem and another, closer to 260 sat on it also. The chair held its own and made me proud. The only minor issue I can say I have with these chairs, (I bought two since there was a special at the time) is when someone sits for an extended period of time, the backs tend to slide a little and crumple a bit. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and use them as accent chairs in my at home office. I purchased the black frame and beige canvas.

Director's Chair
Bought these director's chairs sometime back and I just love them. They're a lot more comfortable than you expect. Extremely easy to set up and I can change the color of the canvas as time goes by. Get many compliments from visitors. Lady Di

Director's Chair a hit!
I bought this chair for my classroom with a movie theme. It is comfortable and durable. I really liked the fact that the black was deep and not just a thin wash.

Teacher appreciation gift
The chair came missing a screw but was easily replaced. Got this as a teacher appreciation gift and had the children sign it with sharpies. Great color and no ther problems with quality.

I have just migrated to America from Australia. Target was as today my first stop store for so many items.On line buying is new to me, but it's perfect! I selected, bought and received my order for my much loved Target Director's chairs just as promised. The delivery time was on schedule - unique indeed! They remain a sturdy piece of furniture in my home indoors or out. Australia or America the ever reliable Director's chair is a pleasure to dress up with cushions or drape with a cover for more"classy" moments. I love them!

DON"T BUY!
I was so excited to receive this chair in the mail so i rushed to put it together with my husband, granted we had some difficulties getting it to open up, but when we finally put it together, I sat in it and one of the back pegs broke in half! I was and still am very disappointed that i paid that much for a broken chair.

Just had 3 delivered. The delivery was fast but the quality of the chair is about the same as the directors chairs from [another reatiler]. The boxes they were delivered in look the same. Neither chair has the quality of directors chairs from [an upscale retailer]. In our area, [the first retailer] charges $25 for just the chair no cloth. [the upscale retailer] which is a good quality chair - no cloth - costs $30.

Great Directors Chairs!
I ordered four directors chairs (black frame with natural fabric) to use in a breezeway/patio area and love the chairs! They arrived within a week of being ordered, and were easy to assemble. I had all four put together in about 10 minutes. The chairs are sturdy and attractive and very easy to move around. They're made well, look great and I would definitely recommend them to others.
