Brown wood stools with black seat cover
Good barstools for occasional use. The wood is not as red it looks in the picture. It is more dark brown. The seat cover is black. The wood slats on the back seem a bit flimsy but the main frame is solid. I try to only move the stools by grabbing the main frame. Since these are in a room where they do not get constant use and my kids are older now, I am happy with them.

Good Stools but not red like photo
I just purchased these because I wanted dark red stools for a bar table. They are not red as shown in the photo with the white background. They are a cherry stain, which is brown with slight red undertones. Nevertheless they seem well made and will work in my space so I am keeping them. I am concerned that the slats in the middle of the back are made from much thinner wood and may break if someone tries to move the stool by lifting on those slats. The outside frame of the back seems plenty sturdy for lifting and moving, the swivel is smooth and the padding in the seat seems adequate.

Great purchase
I have Cherry Cabinets in our new house, and I wanted Bar Stools to match. I ordered 5 of the stools. They all shipped quickly, came packaged very well, and are easy to put together. The assembly is a little time consuming, but my 6 year old son did two of them nearly completely on his own. The quality is great. The stools are very sturdy, and the cherry wood is beautiful and looks very high quality. The color is a dark cherry, and looks just like the photo. The black seat cushion is very easy to wipe off. My children have spilled milk, and juice on them, and they have cleaned off completely and easily. I have had the stools for a few months, and they still look brand new. The only possible negative thing that I can say, is that the seat itself is a little small, but that is the case for nearly all bar stools.

Great Stools!
We just finished assembling four of these stools, and they look great! We shopped around for a while and these were reasonably priced and look nice! They appear to be durable. They only issue we had was that two out of the four stools did not have the holes drilled in a couple of spots where we needed to insert screws. This was annoying! We had a drill and were able to drill the holes...just a minor set back, but they look great now!

Great stools look very nice in my island
For a long time I have been looking for a nice set of stools that where affordable. This ones are great. They look beautiful except that are way more darker than the picture. Still look very nice on my island with a darker touch. They are comfortable and look very nice. Space saving a little labor intensive mounting them. Recommendation put it all together before tightening so everything match and screw also avoid then from been wobbly. Great purchase great stools.

Excellent Stool For the Money!
I purchased 2 of these stools. They are very good looking, solid and stable. I weigh 230lbs and they feel as solid as most stools I have sat on in restaurants. I searched many stores looking for stools and did not see anything this attractive and well built for less than 2.5x the price. First stool was perfect, second stool was shipped with one leg that was defective from manufacture. [...] Both stools are now at my bar in the living room and are ready for years of enjoyable use.

Nice Looking Stool
I bought 4 of these stools for my kitchen. They are very nice looking and comfortable. They are designed well by doubling the amount of screws at each joint. That will make the chairs very sturdy. However, I have a little concern about durability. One of the chairs legs cracked during assembly and the corner of a foot rest was damaged little bit. The good news is that the manufacturer has great customer service. They shipped me the damaged parts fast and without any hassle. I am just hoping my 4 kids can keep them in good shape.

Best Buy
Just redid my kitchen which included black granite top. The chairs are a perfect match to both the top and the cherry wood floors. Same chairs were at another store for much more and I would have had to bring it home myself. The Target order came right to my door. Great service!!!

Good chair for the money
I purchased 3 chairs. They came disassembled and the assembly instructions were very good. Putting them together was very easy. Once assembled, they are very sturdy. The seat cushions are not the greatest (a bit too soft) but considering the cost of the chair, I can live with it. I had to replace the back of one of the chairs due to the wood splitting. I found the manufacturer on the internet, contacted them, emailed a photo of the problem, and they sent me out a replacement right away. Overall, I would buy these again.

Loving Disappointment
I loved this stool! But I was disappointed by it twice --- first when one of the two stools I received was damaged and could not be salvaged. Second, when I returned it and tried to order a replacement, I was told it was out of stock and would likely not be available again! So I had to return the good stool I had received and already assembled. What a bummer!

Nice to look at, but quality definitely lacking
I must say I was pretty impressed when we received these stools at how nice they looked but after having 2 stools with the holes drilled incorrectly I changed my opinion rather quickly. We had to call for replacement parts because the holes were drilled 1/4" off of where they should have been and when we got the replacement a piece was cracked so my husband had to "cannabalize" the other stools so he could put a complete stool together. We've had them about a month now and the finish is starting to come off of all the foot rests.

Very Pleased.
We bought 5 of the stools for our bar. With my husband and I putting them together it only took us about an hour and a half. They look great and very comfortable. We did have to return one because the holes didn't line up correctly on one of the legs. We were able to bring it back to the store here so that made things easier. I am very pleased with our purchase.

Excellent value
We were extremely happy with these stools. They are sturdy, comfy, and stylish. Similar stools (wood with padded seat) would cost three times apiece, and with the discount, you can get them for a very low price. Not even comparable!I agree with the other reviewers - it takes a while to put these together. It's not difficult or confusing, just time consuming. We ordered 4, and one of them did have a problem. The pre-drilled hole to attach the back was drilled in the wrong place on one side. Luckily my husband is handy and he was able to drill a new hole, the old hole was covered by the back, so there was no need to return it. But I still give it 5 stars because I am VERY impressed with the quality and the price.
