A: Yes I hear random purrs from the toy. I think it’s a feature to remind us that it’s in idle mode because usually when I turn it off.

Soft-Touch Coating Gets Sticky After A Few Years
Not an uncommon issue with many electronic devices. But here's the solution: Wet (but not saturate) a piece of paper towel with 91% to 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, changing wet paper towel frequently as the sticky residue dissolves and wipes away. Unfortunately, the eyes and red ears will also be removed in the process, but the kids won't complain. And the black text is not affected by the alcohol and will remain intact. This simple procedure will make this device usable again for years and years of delightful entertainment. Enjoy!

Cat falls flat
I love B toys for the most part but this piano falls short for me. The sound is not very clear and doesn’t sound like the true instruments. Most importantly it can only perceive 1-2 keys at a time so you can’t play chords or mash all the keys at once and get a lot of sound. Recording a song with one note at a time is pretty lame in my opinion. I’d recommend a child’s keyboard over this. Wish I could return it but I bought ours elsewhere.
