This formula is designed as a hybrid—combining the nourishment of a cream with the hold of a gel—to provide structure while maintaining moisture, but we recognize that achieving the right balance is essential for natural movement. To prevent stiffness and enhance definition, we recommend applying the product to very wet, almost dripping hair. This allows the cream-gel to distribute more evenly and prevents it from concentrating in one area, which can lead to a "crunchy" feel. Once your hair is dry, you can gently "scrunch" your curls with your hands to break the protective seal of the gel; this technique, often called "scrunching out the crunch," reveals the soft, sculpted texture underneath without sacrificing hold.     New formula smells terrible

    This used to smell sooooooo good! I got complements all the time on how good I smelled and I wear NO perfume or any other scented products. Why, why mess with it?! ‘New formula’ smells gross, like there’s something wrong with it. I’m so disappointed and will definitely be looking for something else somewhere else.

    Good product, packaging needs work

    I've used this product on my slightly wavy gray hair and I like the resulting look and feel. My only complaint is that the top is too difficult to open, especially with wet hands! It is close to impossible to open without using a towel for help. A little inconvenient.
