The quality of this piece is much better than expected. Apparently I didn't read the description well because I was surprised to find a smaller footstool inside the ottoman. It isn't pictures on the item online but there is a mention of it. I'm very pleased with both pieces. There is no assembly.

Very disappointed -- no hard sides
Several years ago I purchased similar ottomans from Target and was very happy (in fact, still using them after 10 years). I purchased three of these thinking they were very similar. Unfortunately, not. The construction of these is simply framed and wrapped with no hard sides -- the sides are simply just fabric. Bump them with your feet and it's either going to create stretch marks -- or -- your foot will go right thru. There's no way these would last long in my house. I did not find the item description to contain these details otherwise would not have never ordered them. Returned them immediately.

The shipment came well packaged and quickly! The ottomans were perfect for my needs. We were looking for an ottoman of small height that could slide under the chair when not in use, so that's where we keep the smaller one. That leaves a nice storage compartment with a serving tray on the top with the other larger ottoman. The set works well for us!

Great ottoman set!
I thought this Ottoman and stool set was an excellent buy! Blankets have been piling up in my family room and I wanted a storage option for them. This set comes with a very good size storage ottoman with a flip top tray, as well as a smaller ottoman! I use the larger one as storage for 6 blankets and keep the tray side up and use as an end table, and I use the little ottoman as a foot stool for my chair. For the price, this set is a great deal! Can't comment on durability yet since I've only had it 2 weeks, but I have two cats and so far so good!
