A: These 60% bittersweet chocolate chips contain 6g of sugar per serving, they do not contain sugar alcohol. We are launching 72% Cacao and 100% Cacao (no sugar added) in Fall of 2020.

A: Everything that has zero sugar, sugar free, etc, is more expensive for some reason.

A: I agree. But then, it is consistent with the prices of other chocolates, so I can't single them out.

A: I avoid dairy (cheese, milk, all of it) but I made an exception when the ingredients changed on these chips. Fortunately, they don't seem to impact me, so it must not be much. But that is just my experience. If you really can't eat dairy be careful.

A: Yes, it is absolutely dairy-free. My husband's lactose intolerant, so I did my homework before making a flourless chocolate cake for him. Some may have dairy from the fat they use, like butter, but this product uses cocoa butter, which is the oil extracted from the cocoa. So no worries!😄

A: Guittard chocolate is comparable quality to Ghirardelli & is "Free from 14 allergens & sensitizers" including dairy. I like the Guittard Extra Dark Chocolate, which is 63% cacao.

A: Ghirardelli chocolate chips (60% Bittersweet, Semi-Sweet, Mini Semi-Sweet, Non-Dairy, and Milk Chocolate) are not produced on shared equipment that run tree nuts. However, our chips are produced in the same facility that produces tree nut containing products. Peanuts are not used in the manufacturing facility for Bar, Squares and the following Chocolate Chips: 60% Bittersweet, Semi-Sweet, Semi-Sweet mini and Milk Chocolate. We always recommend that you carefully examine the packaging to find the most up-to-date allergen information. This ensures that you are informed about any changes or updates that may affect your health and safety.

A: There is no cholesterol in the 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chips.
