Fresh basil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with this basil. It tasted a lot fresher than the herbs in a jar I normally buy. It wasn’t as fresh as real basil but I enjoyed the shelf stability.

So with that being said, these herbs do last much much longer and are a better value. It could be a little stronger flavor for me because that's how much I love the flavor of basil.

I was so excited to find this because I could put it on my salads. It gives a great added taste! And bonus, it’s packaged in glass.

Good, But Not Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LiteHouse freeze-dried herbs were better than traditional dried herbs but did not live up to my expectations or hopes. I figured they would be much more intense and fresher tasting, more like fresh herbs. The convenience was nice, though, since they don't spoil like the real deal. They are definitely a better alternative to fresh herbs than what I would typically use.

Convenient and tasty

Value size for value price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Litehouse has so many freeze dried herb options that I didn't know what to select! I went with basil because I think this was the first time I saw freeze dried basil. I put fresh basil on top of pasta when I try to eat fancy and fresh dried basil makes it so much more convenient. This is going to be my staple basil.

Pleasantly suprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not normally a user of dried herbs, prefer fresh, I was pleasantly surprised as to the taste and convenience of this freeze dried basil I got thru SocialNature. I used it in a simple tomato based sauce and ground beef on spaghetti for a quick simple meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the easy access and convenient storage so many times you have to use things quickly or they spoil if they’re fresh but these are fresh and preserved well so that they’re available at a moments notice the same as fresh herbs but with more convenience and is so they will be used a lot more often and it saves money

First time for freeze dried herbs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the spice leaves are cut larger and have more vibrant color, I was not sure whether freeze dried was any better than standard dried spices. Upon opening the jar, the smell was more intense than my standard dried basil. I added some to warm olive oil to infuse the oil. The oil was immediately flavorful and you could really taste the basil.
