Description

Play a ruff riff and rock out with the Woofer hound dog guitar! This electrifying instrument lets your toddler channel their inner Van Halen and experiment with a variety of funky features. Pick your musical mood from 3 different play modes: acoustic, electric, or hound dog. Compose your own song using a full C to C scale of 8 chords that smoothly fade in and out. Push the Music Note button to choose between 20 familiar songs, and then take the Strum button for a spin to play along. Every strum of the strings advances a song by 2 seconds, so keep strumming to keep the song going! You can also press the Doggy button for 9 Peppy Puppy songs. And if you feel like singing, go ahead and grab the lyric booklet! Make any song your own with additional sound effects, courtesy of the Whammy Bone button. Parents will also be happy to know that this dog guitar includes a trusty volume knob. End your rock concert by pressing Woofer’s nose, or he will automatically walk off the stage after 2 minutes of inactivity - now that’s a good doggy!

Q: Is the volume unusually very soft and hard to hear? We've tried turning it up all the way and changing the batteries but it makes no difference. Just trying to figure out if this is normal! Thanks.

Q: Some of the reviews state that the strap is a strangulation hazard? Can you remove the strap?

  • A: Hi AMJ. The B. Woofer strap has a center section held together by velcro pieces which can be removed. As well, it can serve as a release during play. Please make sure to remove the plastic tabs that are on the velcro portion of the strap before play. The plastic tabs are part of the toys packaging when new. The Battat Team

Fun with a fragile on/off dial

Fun toy but after a while turning it on makes an incessant clicking/popping noise. Everything still works so it’s not like the batteries are dead, and changing batteries doesn’t fix it. There is just a non-stop clicking noise on top of the other sounds and music it makes. Turns out that is pretty annoying so it stays off now.

Very entertaining

We’ve been buying this guitar since my special needs son was little, he’s almost 17 years old and still his favorite toy. We get him at least 2 a month since he’s very rough with it, poor yappy dog gets thrown out all over the house 😂. I just hope you guys don’t discontinue it please.

This and the Kitty keyboard are my 17 year old son’s favourite toys. He has autism and we always have both at all times but the last year he has left them outside to get rained on and I have like 6 broken ones currently. The keyboard has been his favourite since he was 3. You can’t stop selling these toys. They are the only two toys he likes. Why aren’t they at target? Please Help me keep getting these!!!!

Great original music!

Really cute toy guitar! Our little one loves dancing to the pre-recorded music and strumming on the guitar strings. The music is very original and enjoyable for adults who are sick of the generic kids toy music!

Second birthday gift

Fun guitar for toddler. Plays cute catchy songs in a variety of sounds. The volume can be adjusted and it is loud. Our strap is very short and the guitar cannot be worn. Wish it synced with the smaller baby version so siblings could pretend to play together.
