Horrible, how do you call this tape?
This is the worst tape I've ever used in my life. You would think that the biggest brand of tape would have figured it out. Duck packing tape is 10 million times better.

Pure nightmare! totally failed to hold.
We purchased this product a month ago and used it to seal boxes we were using to move. Everything looked great, until we went to move. The tape kept falling off of the boxes and the boxes were opening while being transported to and from the truck. It was a nightmare! We can't believe that what used to be the "best go to product in the business" fell apart as much as it did.

I am soooooo upset with this tape! I've been buying it for years and lately it is horrible! It simply won't stick to the boxes. Easily comes off. Doesn't keep it closed unless you use a ton of it! Hate it! Will never buy it again! I'd rate it zero but it doesn't let me.,

Get the Scotch STORAGE tape instead.
The label for this tape says Heavy Duty and "Guaranteed to stay sealed." Do I get my money back, 3M? Because it doesn't stay sealed. If you lay it down and then try to reposition the tape, it come right off. If you tape it on top of other tape, it doesn't stick. The plastic tape is thicker, but the glue is terrible. I'm so mad I got this $7 roll of tape rather than the 3-pk of Scotch Storage tape for $10 that I've used for years.

Defective dispenser
Purchased last night and when I got it home, discovered there was no metal cutting strip. I needed to ship a package, so I used the tape anyway, cutting it off with scissors.

Why guarantee a bad product?
I am moving and need reliable tape for many boxes - this is definitely not the product I need. The tape peels away overnight. 3M wake up!!

Unacceptable
Bought in conjunction with a Scotch 3M tape dispenser (red metal and plastic gun type dispenser with foam covered handle). The combination was useless. Tape didn’t adhere very well, then tape could not be cut by the blade. The tape would not cut even when I tried to stretch against the fully deployed blade. Thus, poor tape adherence and then failure to cut resulted in a lot of tape everywhere except where needed. Disappointing.
