Utz Sourdough Specials Extra Dark Pretzels - 16oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried UTZ Sourdough sticks a few years ago when they were near the checkout at the local farm store and were in a cute plastic barrel I wanted to repurpose. Those were good pretzels. for a few months we bought those, then I saw a bag of the Extra Dark around the holidays about a year or year and a half ago and grabbed them. Oh, my they were amazing. Very crispy/crunchy, just the right amount of salt and that slightly overdone flavor I love. (I love my toast dark, my popcorn a few seconds longer, and will never miss grabbing a box of Cheese-Its Extra Toasty) I am not the only one either, my family loves these too. It's like an addiction, I cannot even eat another brand now, and I have to have a bag handy all the time. I have a homemade Horseradish dip and a homemade Honey mustard that pair so good with these, but they are also fantastic by themselves. There are two grocery stores near me that carry this particular flavor, and it is always hit or miss if they will be in stock. I was thrilled when I did a search and was able to order 6 or 10 bags at a time direct to my home. I am not going to tell you how many and how often we order, but I will tell you this house (especially my office snack drawer) will never be without again.

I found these on a recent out of town trip and brought them home on the plane, babying them in my carryon luggage. I had to buy more when I got home, since my husband also loved them as much. Safe to say, I have enough for a couple months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These extra dark special are the o ly ones that I like. I drive and they are the perfect snack for on the go....the darker the better.....so keep them dark as you can get them!!!

I have been waiting for a darker pretzel my whole life and am sooooo glad Utz is making these extra dark sourdough pretzels. I always picked through regular pretzel bags looking for ones cooked a little more or burned as they have so much more flavor and these special darks nail it. I like mine as dark as possible and even with these some bags aren’t as dark as I like and almost that of regular pretzels so the lots of bags can vary and I look for the darkest available!

I have purchased Utz dark pretzels for a long time. Recently, they have not been very dark. They used to look a little charred and really tasted very good, but not anymore.

Love the flavor of the extra dark specials. Great with dips or just snacking by themselves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved out west a few years ago and had not had extra darks since, but I had some a couple weeks ago while visiting. They were just as good as I remembered. I had six bags shipped to Phoenix. Hope to see them in stores out here someday. Love them dipped in peanut butter or vanilla ice cream.

The extra dark pretzels are my family’s new favorite. They have a deeper flavor that makes regular pretzels taste bland. I wish more stores stocked them. I am having to order them to be shipped from Target.
