Gevalia French Dark Roast Ground Coffee - 12oz

I used this coarse ground coffee for my cold brew and it works well. The coarse grind makes it easier for the preparation and helps reduce bitterness during the long step. There is a little sediment at the bottom of the jar after brewing, which is a little normal for cold brew, but it filters out easily with a paper filter. The flavor is smooth with light chocolate and mild citrus notes.

Okay I love this product! I love how it smells when it is brewing ! It taste so fresh ! And it’s not too bitter ! Definitely recommend this ! The packing is easy to open too!

This is one of my favorite dark roast coffees The flavor is smooth. It’s nice and bold without being bitter.. it’s very easy to adjust the taste level with this coffee so wanting it a little stronger is easy to achieve. For the quality of the coffee it’s also very affordable. It’s something I find myself re-purchasing quite often.

Gevalia is a household staple for me. Affordable yet delicious coffee. You don’t always need all the bells and whistles or a thousand dollar coffee maker to make an enjoyable cup of coffee. Sometimes all you need is a good quality bag of coffee beans or ground coffee and a simple Mr coffee 12 cup coffee maker. This brand in particular is a favorite as it’s smooth, comforting and not super bitter.

This coffee is great- however the price increase is insane!! this use to be 7.99 a couple months ago then they raised it to $9 and now this week over $10?? Buying this elsewhere!

I love this coffee. They don’t carry it at my local Target. So I buy it using the app and have it shipped. I have bought a lot of this coffee. And I usually add other items too. I have been a loyal Target customer for years and am even willing to spend a bit more to support a company I believe it. However as you can see with the photos, this coffee is now on sale. I can clearly see that when I search using a search engine. But when I try to add it in my Target app, the cost is not the sale amount listed. It is not even the non-sale amount. It is significantly more! I’m now planning a special trip to purchase this coffee (and probably other items) from that “other store that I try to avoid that starts with a W”. Do the right thing, Target. Be fair and transparent with your loyal customers or you will lose them. Don’t try to trick us into spending a lot more because you think we’re dumb and won’t check.

I am a coffee enthusiast and I absolutely love the flavor of this French roast. While it’s brewing, the smell is so enticing I can’t wait to enjoy it! It’s not expensive and it comes in a bright yellow package so it’s easy to find in the stores. Delicious!

I've had this type of coffee in the past in which it was absolutely amazing. I love a good dark roast coffee and this fits the bill 100%. I had to stop buying this particular brand of coffee because it got too expensive for me to get. You can actually order this through their website as part of a subscription and that's how I was able to try this particular brand of coffee. I do see it in the stores now however, I have not purchased this particular coffee from the store. When you brew your coffee, please follow directions with this particular brand and flavor because it's extremely strong and you only need one cup to get the caffeine effect that you're seeking. Anything more than one cup would be too much. I've gotten to the point where as one cup of coffee would be sufficient for me throughout the day. I cannot go no more than two cups.

I drink only French roast pre-ground coffee brewed through a Clever Dripper. I’m not into fancy brands. I bought this on a whim and overall like it. I add whole milk to my coffee, and for whatever reason with this brand it’s an especially delicious mix. Solid and smooth is how I think of it. To me, this coffee is more intense than other brands. I plan to keep going with this one for a while.

Heat coffee flavor. Don’t have to use as much ( strong) but that’s fine. A bit pricey but sometimes on sale

This coffee is so flavorful and refined I’m amazed it’s a perfect cup every time. So rich and silky without bitterness, I have not a bad thing to say you must try it for yourselves.

I love dark roast coffee. Gevalia French Roast is one of my favorites. It's rich and intense. The coffee beans are finely grounded, almost flour like. The coffee smells strong and smoky. Makes a perfect cup of coffee.
