Q: Can they be used in a kitchen compactor?

submitted by Lee - 2 years ago

  • A: Hi! Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend using our Hefty Tall Kitchens Trash Bags in a compactor as they are not strong enough to withstand the intense pressure and may rip. Hope it helps!

It's trash bags. How can you rate trash bags? You put your trash in it, you tie it up and you throw it out. And a trash barrel, how can you rate it? I know it's not bad. My trash has not ripped yet. Thank god on that

    Stretches and does not break!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One thing about Hefty is that if they claim their products will do something- it will! This is one tough and strong trash bag. It easily stretches so that it can hold a lot of weight, and the top part of the bag opens a lot farther than other products so that it fits over kitchen sized trash cans that have a wider top. This is a huge plus for me as most kitchen sized trash bags break when fitting over the rim. This does not!

    Hefty tall kitchen crap bags

The quality of Hefty tall kitchen bags are crap. They rip as you insert them into the garbage can because they have shrunk the size. They are also much thinner than they used to be. I won't purchase again.

    Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bags are extremely sturdy, I haven’t had any rips or tears. They don’t leak either! They are easy to pull out of the box, and they have a great scent. This is my go to brand for trash bags so I definitely recommend.

Strong, durable, and holds up with heavy loads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bags are a life changer! They’re strong, durable, and hold up really well without ripping or leaking. I filled them up with some pretty heavy garbage after doing home improvement projects, and they held up without tearing or stretching at the bottom. I previously used bags from a competing company, and I would say that these are definitely sturdier in the plastic as well as the drawstring to close the bag. Overall, definitely worth it for every day use!

    Stetchy and durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a regular Hefty trash bag user. These have a good stretch on them that only tears if you REALLY over stuff them. They have a subtle scent that helps to keep odors from escaping. The drawstring bag tie makes it easy to close them tightly before bringing out.

    Strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaning up my office just got a whole lot easier and smells great too! The scent is not overwhelming - these bags are truly ultra strong while still being flexible enough to hold all sorts of weird shapes of trash - will buy again!

    Great garbage Bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aboustely one of my favorite absorbed bags. They feel tough and dependable, even when the bag is getting full or carrying heavier trash. I’ve had no issues with tearing or leaks, which is really the main thing you want from trash bags. I also like that the scented version helps keep the kitchen smelling fresh, especially between trash pickups and durable. The fit is perfect. Dispensing

    Very durabe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very durable trash bags!! These are more durable than the current bags we were using. I don't have to worry about over stuffing these bags and afraid of them ripping! The scent is nice and not overpowering like certain ones I've tried in the past. These might just be our new trash bag replacements!!
