Didn’t love his clock. The hands were hard to move and only went forward. The time in the little slot didn’t perfectly align. It’s a great visual but not very functional for teaching. Returned.

Buy something else. Quality not even close to what I expected from Melissa & Doug. Paint job is shoddy and the digital piece only reads by 5. So for instance you can’t teach 5:01 and have digital and analog match.

Terrible quality
Terrible quality: the wooden face was coming off the backing, the little door showing the digital clock gets jammed, the numbers of the digital clock aren’t aligned. On top of that, the hands are hard to turn and only go one way. Very disappointing for this brand.

Accurate until 45-55 minutes
This is a good value for the toy. It is made well and sturdy. The hands are hard to move and the knob is not functional. The times are accurate until I tried 12:45, 1:45, etc up to 12:55, 1:55, etc.. Because the hands move independently, the times shown for those values are not correct. For example 12:45 is really 11:45.

My granddaughter is just learning how to tell time. We did worksheets and she got frustrated. Doing the same thing with the clock is really helping her. I just wish that the time cards that came with it didn’t have the color of the hands on it and was a solid color instead. I will make some so that I can really assess if she is “getting it” or just following the colors.

Red powdery paint everywhere! Atypical Melissa & Doug quality!
Red powdery paint everywhere! Excellent customer service from Target; returned the item without issue. Disappointed in Melissa & Doug though as we typically love things from this company, but this clock was horrible! Opened the plastic wrap only to discover red paint from the clock all over my hands and countertop. :-(

Doesn't work well
Great concept but not great execution. Difficult to turn the hands and difficult to open the window. Also has a slight crack/lifted area on the clock face. Would work just as well as a laminated sheet with a spinning component and window.
