    Defective

    I normally have loved this chapstick, but the most recent ones I bought were defective and smushy. Target sent me replacements but those were no better. Not sure if Nivea changed their formula but these sticks do not hold together whatsoever. I even tried putting them in the fridge to get firm but they still smushed and smeared across my lips as if they were frosting.

    Defective Batch - January 2026

    I love this lip balm, but the last time I purchased (January 2026) the batch must have been defective. The lip balm stick is goopy and mushy and doesn't stay in a stick form when you try to put it on, as if it's melted or has been sitting in a hot car for hours (it hasn't, it's winter and I live somewhere cold). I hope they fix this issue, because I usually like this lip balm!

    Contains soy

    Beware, contains soy. I read the ingredients list online in the description where you'd see common names next to chemical names ex. "Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) seed oil" but nothing in parentheses next to Tocopherol. But the very last picture has a box that shows Tocopherol (vitamin E) = source = soybean. It's my bad for missing this tiny last photo but I wish they'd make this fact less easy to miss. Especially since people can be allergic to soy like me. Definitely, returning.

    My favorite lip balm

    I’m a guy so my lips are always chapped/dry. I’ve tried different brands but this one works better than all the other brands. Once applied, it lasts all day. Doesn’t have that shimmering shine most lip balms give. I keep one in my car and one at home.
