Scrub Daddy is an innovative household scrubbing tool. Q: Will this work well at cleaning the OVEN? Haven’t seen this mentioned. Also have the scrub mommy so wondering if the scrub daddy is better for tough stuck on stains, etc.

A: Thank you for your question, Mayra. Both Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy are suitable for cleaning your oven. Scrub Daddy is made of FlexTexture, a polymer foam that changes its texture depending on the water temperature you use. In cold water, Scrub Daddy becomes firm and rigid, which is ideal for tackling burnt or sticky messes. In warm water, it softens into a sponge-like consistency, making it easier to reach tight corners and create a soapy lather. A: If mine is ever looking dirty I just use a bunch of Dawn soap on it and that helps restore the Scrub Daddy after it gets a little grungey from certain foods.

Q: If this goes soft in warm water how do you use it to clean anything that requires scrubbing instead of just rinsing? Cold water should NEVER be used to clean, yet that's what this needs to function???

A: Our scrubbers work well with water alone. If you feel a little detergent is needed, baking soda, vinegar, or a mild dish soap is recommended. Harsh chemicals should be avoided to obtain maximum longevity.

Falls apart!!
We have been using scrub daddy’s since the beginning. We LOVED them. Now after a few uses they tear up and fall apart. Our first one we had lasted about 6 months, now it does not even last 6 days. What happened? Did y’all change how you make them. We are very disappointed!

Why did I wait so long to buy this??
I've seen these advertised for years, and I kind of disliked the weird hype I saw for whatever reason and never purchased it. Decided when I needed just a little bit more to reach a shipping minimum to add one on when it was suggested, and jokes on me for being so stubborn -- I love this sponge! It holds soap well, scrubs without scratching, and begrudgingly I have to admit looks really cute in the kitchen sink caddy.

Amazing
I absolutely love scrub Daddy. My son got putty on one of my stuffed animals. I took this sponge and a little dawn dish soap and scrubbed it off. It took me a little to get it off, but worked awesome. I highly recommend scrub daddy for all the little messes.

I've used a scrub daddy for over a year but this batch I bought a couple of weeks ago is already falling apart. I've searched online to see if teh quality has gone down but read on reddit that the company are informing there are counterfeits out there where the product would fall apart within weeks. Obsessed! Once you get this in hot water it's more squishy, and holds soap amazingly. It suds up and gets things squeaky clean! Love this to clean my kitchen counters and sink, oven cooktop, fridge shelves... I have a second one for my bathroom: sinks tub and shower. Beats using a scrub brush, especially if you have arthritic hands, it's easier to maneuver, you can squish it behind sink handles and faucet hardware, and it does an amazing job cleaning. I think it would do an amazing job with dishes and glassware, altho I'm leary when it comes to repeated abrasive scrubbing in Tritan plastics, like if it will make it look foggy over time, I'm not sure I'd use this for that but for everything else like glass, opaque plastics or stainless yes! Get one for every area, you will love it!!!

I love my Daddy
I will never use another sponge again. The original will always be my favourite. Best sponge I have ever used. It doesn’t hold onto grease or food if it’s rinsed. I’ve run them through the dishwasher of small particles ever get stuck. It holds soap like no other. I love the happy colours and the happy faces. Functional and fun. Awesome product and in my top 10 best things I’ve ever owned.
