About The Author



Jennifer Liberts grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Agoura, California. She has a BA in English Literature from California State University, and an MFA in Poetry from Columbia University. She has worked as a children's book editor, an English teacher, and an independent bookseller. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her three book-loving children, and an orange cat named Chuck.

Mike Jackson is a children's book illustrator. He graduated from the legendary ArtCenter School of Design in Pasadena, California, and has been making art for more than 25 years. He has illustrated several books, including The Best Doghouse Ever! (Bubble Guppies), Lend a Helping Paw (PAW Patrol), and A Fairytale Adventure.

Poor quality and over-priced.Tiny-sized books; small print and printed on cheap paper in cheap ink. Very "unappealing"presentation negates the valuable content: the phonics method of teaching children to read. I returned this item.

These books are terrible. We have a few other phonics books (from Usborne) that we love, so I was expecting a well written story. Short, but well written. These are so bad, our daughter doesn't even want to read them even though she loves Paw Patrol.

I saw from previous reviews about the size of the book but decided to order anyway for my nephew. I opened the box out of curiosity and was actually surprised by the size. In case you are wondering, the individual book is sized about the same as a book that you would get out of a kids meal.
