Nice ottoman, good color, love the hinges!
Very happy with our purchase! We have a smaller living room, with a loveseat and larger chair, and this was the perfect sized ottoman. The acuated hinges are super helpful. The actual color is closer to the second picture above (a deep chocolate (more "red"), but not a dark espresso (more "purple)). The price was good too ($155).

Very pleased with this dark ottoman. I had been looking for a replacement for mine but didn’t want to spend too much because my couch will be replaced in the next year or two. Assembly was just attaching the feet. The hinges are smooth and allow the lid to close slowly. Huge storage. Looks very well made!

Looks Expensive
This is exactly what I was looking for. The color is a dark brown, like a dark chocolate but not too black. It matches my leather couch perfectly and has a huge storage space, enough for two blankets and 2 pillows. This looks very expensive and high end without the high price of and furniture store.
