A: Hi RLT! The 17 Gal. HD Garage Tote features a deep recessed lid to provide stability when stacking for efficient use of storage space. Most household storage purposes do not require suggested weight limitations. Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers not overload them or stack more than three high. This could cause distortion or eventual damage. When storing items away, use good judgment and be mindful of the weight in each tote and place the heaviest tote on the bottom. We hope this information helps!

A: Hi moonbeam! The 17 Gal. HD Garage Tote is made of Polypropylene plastic, and is designed for general household use. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well. Air or towel dry.

Horrible customer Service scamming establishment
I waited for them to go on sale. Then ordered 5. 3 were canceled. I spent 2 days and hours dealing with customer service before they agreed to refunding the shipping cost and the difference between the new price and discounted price if I placed the order at the new price. I have yet to see a refund and order for the original 2 that were not canceled, came as a smashed in box, with 1 single lid in it. No totes. So I paid for 8 and received 3. I will never in my life order from target again. And I will always recommend that anyone else doesn't either. If I could put negative stars, I would

Sturdy and spacious storage totes

Amazingly Perfect

Perfect tote for all sorts of storage needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I immediately fell in love with this tote the moment I got it. I've been wanting to have it for my DIY equipments and so glad I got it. I like the color, it's strong and accommodate my equipments well. I store my hammers , and other heavy equipments and they dont prick the container. The lids close tightly and I also like they have spot for a lock. Its stackable making it a good space saver. I received this tote as part of my take research.
