Q: Are these rated for high heat like in an attic or storage shed in Texas without breaking a part after a few years?

A: Hi Joe! All our products, including the 34 Gal. Latching Tote, are made out of polypropylene and polyethylene and can withstand temperatures of as high as 180 degrees Fahrenheit and as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit. At the higher temperatures, the plastic can eventually become flexible and could warp or deform. At colder temperatures, the plastic may become brittle and may crack or rupture. With repeat or prolonged exposure to these extremes will negatively impact the performance and longevity of the items. There should be no concern of our products “melting” in attics in summer, however if attic temperature is regularly at 180 F degrees or above the product performance and longevity may be impacted. A: Hi August! The 34 Gal. Latching Tote Our is made of polypropylene and is designed for general household storage. Most household storage purposes do not require suggested weight limitations. Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers use good judgment and not overload them or stack more than three high. This could cause distortion or eventual damage.

The whole purpose of purchasing this item was its latch-lock system. When I picked it from Target Drive Up, it was missing a latch. Of course, I didn’t notice till I had already brought it home. Now I have to return the item to the store.

This tote is large and is the perfect size for me to pack away out grown clothes from my oldest for when her sister is big enough to wear them. Will fit a lot of clothes. It’s heavy duty and love that it has easy to close latches.
This tote is a nice large size that makes it a quick way to store things. However, not heavy duty. The latching lid makes it easy to secure the lid in place. I was able to store all of my grill accessories easily.
I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This is a nice, large tote with a secure lid. The latxhes for the lid are attached to the sides of the tote, and flip up to lock. Very easy to use, I am going to use this to pack up my classroom.
