IF YOU ARE USING FOR TIRAMISU-

If you’re making tiramisu and like me couldn’t find ladyfingers anywhere and decided to just order these, do a Drive Up pickup, and call it a day… here’s the scoop. The almond flavor does come through pretty strongly. My daughter wasn’t a fan, and my husband said it tasted like cherry flavoring. I thought it leaned more toward an anise note but honestly, I still loved it and happily finished our tiramisu. Texture wise, they worked just like ladyfingers, and the design is super cute. We did have to cut the cookies down a bit to fit our dish, but no big deal. Bonus: these cookies are delicious dunked in coffee. I really wish I had a few left this morning to prove that point. So if it was up to my family, they would knock down a few stars but the cookies serve their purpose and are delicious for what they are!

Good substitute for ladyfingers in tiramisu

I wasn’t able to find ladyfinger biscuits but this was a good substitute. The texture, when dry, is sturdy so it holds up well when soaking in liquid. However, the almond flavor is strong so if you don’t like almond extract, this may not be for you. I enjoyed the almond flavor in my tiramisu.

NOT the original recipe!!

The true original was delicious. Now they're using chemical crap like benzaldehyde for flavoring. Shame.
