Vernors Ginger Soda is the perfectly balanced, effervescent original ginger soda with the ginger flavor unlike anything else out there. Known for having more of a bite than your typical ginger ale, it’s also caffeine-free and can be enjoyed whenever the mood strikes you. First created in Detroit Michigan by a pharmacist in 1862 making it one of the oldest sodas in the United States. In fact, Vernors Ginger Soda is still popular in its home state as well as in other parts of the country. Ask any proud Michigander and they’ll tell you all about how much they love their Vernors Gingers Soda, although you might hear them refer to it as ‘pop’ instead. You can also enjoy a Boston Cooler (named after a street in Detroit, not the city) with a scoop of ice cream for the ultimate Michigan Vernors experience. You can even add a shot of vodka for a boozy version of the original for an added kick. Enjoy Vernors and experience a ginger ‘pop’ like no other!

    Best Ginger Soda!

    Wish you stocked this all the time along with the sugar-free version. This ginger level is amazing, but the only thing is that the high fructose corn syrup is a killer.

    Best Ginger Ale - and No junk

    This is the real thing - it's so good, and for some reason now it's so hard to find! Vernors is the oldest ginger ale brand in the United States. Created in1866. Target could support American brands by keeping this item on the shelf! None if that cheap high fructose corn syrup crap - Vernors is made with real sugar - real ingredients. Great soda pop, great for a tummy ache, and great for a marinade. Vernors is simply the best of Americana.

    Bring this soda to Virginia!

    the best highball mixer

    2 parts Vernors Ginger Ale and 1 part 10 high bourbon on the rocks or 1 part diet Vernors and 2 parts any George Dickel Tennessee whiskey for more effect with less calories.

    Disgusting

    I bought this because I love ginger ale and ginger beer. This also has great reviews. I was so disappointed! This stuff has no flavor at all and is quite frankly disgusting. Don’t waste your money!

    The real stuff

    My folks are from Michigan, and every time we visited relatives, we would cart back all the Vernors we could carry. To me, it is the 'real' ginger ale, while others are pale shadows in comparison. The supply at Target is limited, but I've taken to grabbing all I can find. Glad I can peek online first to see if it's worth the trip!

    The best on the Market

    The best ginger ale on the market! This is the stuff I grew up on. I can't drink any of the other ginger ales on the market- they are all watery in comparison. I've gotten many people hooked on this stuff. I've even given up pop, but not Vernors!
