A: Hello Delis, The dimensions for the central shelves are 21.5'' W X 14.75'' D. And the side inside adjustable shelves are 21.5'' W X 14.75'' D.

A: Yes, we did that when ours was put together. We have only two shelves in the middle section.

Fair warning!!!
For starters this is a beautiful tv stand, deep, rich color and once built it seems to be quite strong and sturdy, its getting to that point that may be frustrating, fir me it was. There is absolutely no written instructions, only very vague pictures. Please, please, please pay extreme close attention to the orientation of the pieces, look at all holes, notches etc. before beginning assembly on the piece. While the instructions reference letter pieces, mine had absolutely zero letters on them, leaving me to basically guess if i was using the right piece or not. Second, please ensure that this stand is deep enough for your tv legs, i did not, and my tv legs are too wide front to back. I decided to keep the stand and modified my tv legs to fit, i really like this stand and decided it was worth the effort.

Bought TV stand which was delivered on time, when unpacked the box, couple of parts had scratches. So i contacted customer services and got the replacement parts shipped free right away. product quality is ok, though it could be made better. as after few weeks of use, it is very easy to get scratches.

It's very cheap, but took my husband (with a drafting and construction background) over 5 hours to assemble. There were no instructions. Drawers and doors don't line up due to crappy hardward ware and I already chips a corner of the door. But from afar it looks nice and will hopefully last a couple years. Our tv is wall mounted so it's mostly for various internet / video game consoles. So nothing heavy on it. It will probably warp with a heavy tv.

Good value, but definitely black.
Similar to other reviews here and on competitors' sites, the instructions were small photos, no words, but if you have put this stuff together before you'll figure it out. Just take your time. Hoped reviews were wrong, as the photos are definitely espresso in color (similar to other espresso products) but this is definitely black. Thankfully, it matches nicely all of the other black items (components, gaming chair, etc), so it's not a deal breaker for me. Product was 20% off the next week, so Target refunded the difference. Thanks Target (but let's get those photos/color updated please)!

This is not espresso !
I was very disappointed when i opened the box to see my "espresso" TV stand. The color is absolutely black; I checked my order because I thought I was shipped the wrong product. Don't buy this expecting a brown wood color.

Beautiful piece
The color says espresso but it is more blackish than brownish. Took 4 hours to assemble with one person with pictures only. The handles Are plastic but once installed you don't really notice. It is made with all particle board so it is heavy as heck, but once put together the piece looks just like the photo and very beautiful. You will have to adjust the screw adjustments on the clear doors to get the door alignment just right. Only wish it had some true solid wood pieces.

Great value for price
Does take awhile to assemble and do not like that the handles are plastic. But love the look and the quality of the material is good for the price.
