Description

Master your morning routine with the OXO SoftWorks StrongHold Suction Fogless Shower Mirror. The phthalate-free StrongHold suction cup securely locks the Mirror onto shower surfaces. The suction cup attaches with the flip of a lever, ensuring a sturdy hold without the need for tools. Q: Do you have to fill this with hot water every time you use it? I assume the water cools off after a while then is no good anymore.

Q: Is the mirror supposed to fall apart if it falls off the wall and then click back together? My mirror obviously lost suction and fell, breaking into the frame, mirror and back.

When applying the mirror to any surface keep these tips in mind: clean/dry surface & suction cups before applying. Suction works best on smooth, glazed surfaces. Dont let it fall apart.

Falls off wall easily and is extremely difficult to put back together. After the third time of it falling down and coming apart I just threw it away. It’s not worth the frustration.

Just doesn't stick!

I put it on the wall six times and six times it fell, all within 10 minutes. Yes, I followed all the directions and tips I could find. Never got to the point where I could actually use it.

consistently falling, have had for 2 weeks, followed instructions, tried numerous alternative methods but never stays. since the goal of the purchase was a hanging shower mirror- not worn the expense. The glass hasn't broken so that's a pro. Lost the receipt and husband already tossed box so no way to return sadly

Cannot recommend.

I've always thought OXO made good stuff but this one is a big miss. Doesn't stay on the wall more than a day and then it falls and comes apart into 3 different pieces which are about impossible to put back together. Waste of money.

Good for shower mirror

I recently tried out the OXO ‘fogless’ glass mirror for the shower, and it’s definitely got some things going for it. First off, I love the size, it’s a bit larger than a standard hand size, which makes it easy to see your whole face. It also comes with these handy little hooks at the bottom where you can hang a loofah or washcloth, which is a neat bonus. Now, the suction cup mount is strong and it’s nice that you can detach the mirror easily to refill it. That’s where the main quirk comes in, to keep it fogless, you have to fill a little compartment in the back with hot water from your shower. If you forget to do that, it’s not going to stay fog-free, which can be a little annoying if you’re just ready to hop in and go. Also, the glass surface itself doesn’t shed water droplets as easily as I’d hoped, so you might find yourself wiping it down a bit to keep it clear. On the bright side, the mirror doesn’t warp your reflection like some cheaper shower mirrors do, so you get a nice true-to-life image. Overall, I’d say it’s a decent pick if you don’t mind the extra step of adding water to keep it fogless. It’s not my perfect dream mirror, but it does the job and has a sturdy build with a good reflection.

Clever anti fog reservoir

This mirror is great for shaving in the shower. This mirror is detatchable and has a water reservoir on the back. While you're warming up the shower fill the reservoir with hot or warm water and thay prevents the mirror from fogging. The suction is strong has a lever to ensure it's secture to the wall and the hook is useful for holding a razore. I highly recommend this item.

Works Great... Until

I absolutely love this shower mirror. It does what it's supposed to do incredibly well. It's also easy to hang, fill with water (to remain fog-free), and easy to clean. The only downside - and it's not enough to give it less than five stars - is that, after a while, the suction power decreases, and the mirror falls to the floor. If it breaks, it has to be replaced. Still, for the money, replacing it once a year is no big deal. Remember to pour out the water after every use to extend its life considerably.
