Not precise enough, especially the black pair!

My all time favorite tweezers! I can’t describe it but they’re entirely painless to use, it might be the metal that makes it painless. It’s the only set of tweezers I’ll be coming back to buy as it makes tweezing easy, quick and painless compared to others.

Great tweezers! You get what you pay for with tweezers

I've purchased this for years, specifically for the black pair - they're more precise than any tweezers I've ever tried! However, this last purchase, they changed the design so that the black paint coating extends all the way to the tip of the tweezer, covering the part that grabs the hair, and on mine, it looks like there was a production error and the paint spilled over onto the inside. Because of this it's not sharp at all, barely grabs hairs, and doesn't seem entirely body safe. Hope they'll consider going back to the old design!

Unfortunately like other reviews these will BARELY grab any hairs. If you need a long hair it’s doable after many tries. Anything shorter or that is precise forget getting the job done.

They don't really pluck the hair

Great tweezers at a great price! I recently lost my tweeezerman tweezers and went to replace them. I didn’t feel like spending $20+ on a pair so bought these on a whim. They’re even better than tweezerman!

I took a chance on these since I have never used the brand before - did not disappoint. Very good quality tweezer set.

I’m not sure why, but these work way better than the Tweezerman’s or any others I’ve tried. That said, they’re not very consistent in quality and (from rebuying frequently when my siblings lose them) I’ve had some that work great and some that don’t work at all.

Nice and sharp tweezers. Very helpful for grasping very short hairs.

These used to be awesome tweezers, but the last three times I bought them they barely do the job. I thought it may have been a fluke the first time, but twice more and they were all the same. Zero Grip. I’ll have to go back to the other brand. Bummer, because they used to be great.

Poor quality, One of even them broke apart. The tips do not come together for tweezing fine hair.

The Black one is for finest eyebrow hairs. Its so efficient it can pick up even the ones that were cut short. Its very good for cleaning up the leftovers. There may be cheaper ones but this one’s worth it

These are fine but they’re not as good as a previous pair of japonesque I used to have. These ones are a little difficult to grasp fine or short hairs.

These tweezers are a travelers size which would be ok, but they don't work well at all. They barley open and the shiny one is dull. The black one doesn't grab anything. They will break if your not careful. It's ok, I try new thing brands all the time. I'm just not going to buy this brand again.

I like the point-slant tweezers, and only buy the set for them (the regular slant is okay, but not special). I wish Japonesque would sell point-slant tweezers by themselves, as I've bought 4 pairs of these over the last 5 years (for my purse, for my vanity, for my daughter, and for replacement) and therefore have four slant tweezers that are rarely, if ever used. Such a waste when I only want one item. 4 instead of 5 stars for that reason.

These tweezers seems like they’ll work really well but I’m not sure if I might have got a defective pair. I find it very odd that these tweezers keep every fingerprint on it wherever you touch… in order to get them off you have to wipe them off as if you’re waxing a car..
