I adore my mirror. I was looking for a vanity mirror that I could use while sitting down and this had everything I was looking for and more! Pleasantly surprised. It had 2 magnifications, a small tray, and a padded bottom. I have the brass version, which I thought looked a little more elegant. Overall very happy with it.

Fire hazard!? Don't leave in sunny room!
Well, this mirror is absolutely fine as a makeup mirror and decorative item. Unfortunately, I left it on the coffee table and almost burned the house down when the slightly convex magnifying side of the mirror channeled the sun from the windows and formed a beam of light that burned the couch! It wasn’t even a very sunny room! I’m so grateful this didn’t burn my house down while I wasn’t home— the couch probably contains flame retardants. Freak occurrence, probably yes, but I will be storing this in a dark room from now on!

Wow, this is super laughable. I am a block head in this mirror!!!! The normal side makes your face look so wide! The magnified side is wide too but that wouldn’t matter since I didn’t plan on using that side. Returning it and will use my bathroom mirror in the meantime.

I have this mirror in bronze as well as black and they both look gorgeous in their space. They are high-quality and pivot extremely well with no resistance.
