A: The tabletop is adjustable and can sit at 7.7 in., 9 in or 10 in. high based on your preference. The tray then can also be lifted and set at one of four settings; 3, 5, 6 or 7 inches. So if the tabletop is at 10 inches (highest setting) and the tray is tilted at the tallest setting of 7 inches the top of the tray will be 17 inches high. That is the tallest of the settings. Feels flimsy, unstable on soft surfaces
Like other laptop desks, this is not stable on a mattress due to its narrow footprint and rounded legs, so even if it were better build quality, I wouldn't recommend it for use in bed. Would be fine for use on the floor, though. I hoped that the adjustable height might let me mitigate some of the instability on a soft surface, but I had trouble adjusting the leg height. It seems to require a lot of pressure and coordination just to get it going, while also feeling somewhat fragile, and I ended up with one of the legs only partially adjusted because I cannot physically push it in further. Also, I dislike that the top surface cannot be locked flat. It kept flipping open while I was trying to adjust the legs, which was super annoying. I will probably be returning this in the near future.

The entire unit is much too heavy. The legs are too wide for most areas that it would be used. The tipping point is not of any use. I will be returning it hopefully with a full refund since I don't have the box it came in.

Last time at store
Very rude clerk at customer service. She said order number was not good enough. I had the email with proof of purchase but i had used my Ipad and couldnt access the account for the bar code. She made a big deal about it when it was easily fixed with an id. Totally uncalled for.

Utterly Unusable
Bought this, took it home to set it up and noticed the top wasn't fully screwed in. Went to screw it in and they never fully screwed in. At this point, it's unusable.
