A: They are removable. You could change them out for something different, but it might be hard since this item is made overseas and they use a different thread count and it can be hard to find hardware here for these items.

Q: Trying to put together and the Cam Lock Screws don't screw into the panels. Are they supposed to go all the way in or just push in slightly? When I tried to screw it in tighter it started chipping the edges of the hole.

A: Ccam lock screws should not be screwed in completely. They should hold together once inserted into the cam lock and secured.

This night stand serves its purpose. It’s not the sturdiest strongest quality and material but of course, that’s not what’s to be expected from this purchase. The details say no materials are needed in assembling but that is untrue. You will need a screw driver. The pieces are not labeled and you do have to be very careful when assembling. I put one piece backwards and had to undo and reassemble the entire night stand. Also, be sure to check the measurements. The picture makes it look bigger than it actually is. All in all is serves it’s purpose and worked out well.
