Description

Growing as a slender tree reaching a maximum height of 15 feet, 'Emerald Green' is an ideal decorative accent or privacy screen for the landscape. Plant 4-5' from surrounding plants, buildings, etc. to showcase the arborvitae's unique growing habit or, when planted in groupings 2-3' apart, this attractive evergreen will form a dense hedge that creates privacy and serves as a windbreak. Its pyramidal shape and restrained habit will not overwhelm the landscape, and it can be pruned as desired for an elegant, formal look. 'Emerald Green' tolerates heat and drought once established, and is cold hardy to -40°. Its foliage develops in vertical sprays and releases a pleasant evergreen aroma when crushed.

Disappointed (so far)

When I unpacked the trees, they had started browning and I’m concerned they will not survive. They were planted immediately and now we await the results.

They were very green and healthy, packaged well minus them being wrapped in plastic but I like that they are shipped in pots not bare rooted.

Cute green accent

I needed a medium sized pine to help hide my neighbor's not so pretty fence by our garage. This gets to the perfect size. It arrived packed perfectly, and green and pretty and survived being snowed on the day after it was delivered. Very happy with the plant and for Target's online plant availability! (Target doesn't have plants at the stores in my town).

Best experience ever! I just received my plants and they are absolutely beautiful. Each one is the same height, very strong and a beautiful lush green. They were packed so perfect I was just amazed. Target was there every step along the way in case I needed assistance. Thank you Target
