Change in color, flavor, and texture
Over the last few months, Eckrich deli bologna has changed from the color, consistency, and texture of an uncooked hot dog to something much darker and rougher than that still found pre-packaged. As a result, the bologna doesn't taste nearly as good. Also of concern is that this apparently new formulation resulted in the bologna going bad extremely quicker than what was expected, with the outside getting stiff and turning color after only a few days. Despite no change of the recipe/formulation being announced publicly, there either was one unannounced, or Eckrich has been shipping bad batches of bologna starting in the summer of 2025.

Garlic Bologna
We have purchased 2 seperate orders recently of garlic bologna from our local Safeway, in AZ. The first was rubbery with no garlic flavor, thought the clerk just grabbed the wrong one the first time. The second time, I watched the lady at the counter grab the labled garlic Eckrich, same rubber, no taste slices on that round. I am not sure what has changed, but the taste and consistency has changed from years past, it was once very good, it now sucks, Throwing this out that I have. Please bring back your past product, or discontinue this junk.

Fine Food!
Artisan meats such as Bologna have been an art form in Europe for centuries.This bologna fits that category perfectly. Wonderful flavor, texture for any meal; breakfast lunch or dinner. Well done!

Return to the old time taste
I wish that not only your produce but all things would go back to the way things tasted 40 years ago. for some reason these companies think that they can change thing for the better but when you have a great produce to begin with, why change anything. like the old saying, if it not broke don't fix it!

Your deli bologna is now like sandpaper
5 weeks ago..March 2025, the deli bologna from our local store was good as usual...flavorful, smooth cut, very enjoyable. In the last 3 weeks, the bologna does not look the same, taste the same, and has so much unground filler that IT FEELS LIKE SANDPAPER!!! I am so disappointed that you obviously felt the need (just like all of the big corps) to sacrifice quality for what is now presenting itself as a cheaply made product while charging the "good ole consumer" the same or more. I AM NOW GOING B A C K TO KAHNS BOLOGNA.

My favorite
My parents always bought this bologna and I grew up on it. It’s the only bologna I will eat. Sandwich is a staple in my home for lunch. Bologna, mayo, cheese on bread. Delish!

Best tasting Bologna out there!!
In our town, growing up, we called it Jumbo! Closest flavor of any product on the market, that brings back great memories of my childhood! Good flavor with the right amount of spices. Well done Ekrich!!

I'm so sad that when we moved to the south, we can't find it anymore! I took a bologna sandwich in my lunch every single day from 3 year olds to 12th grade. I miss it soooo much! 😢

Shame On Ekrich
You need to be ashamed and castigated for discontinuing your lower-sodium bologna. There are hundreds of thousands of people who,, especially senior citizens, that have to restrict salt intake. Your regular bologna and other products contain such an excessive amount of salt, they could be used to melt ice on a sidewalk. If that's the only way you're capable of giving your products any flavor, you should go into another business!

Wrong item title
The name is incorrect. This is the all meat Bologna. I had issues with my Same day delivery because of this.
