Doesnt propwrly fit to the mattress

We live the look of this bed but it has such huge gaps between our mattress and the border of the bed frame. We have a true standard king size mattress. So I’m not sure why there’s such a big gap. You can straight up see all the wood slats that hold the mattress. Annoying. Assembly was’t too terrible. Took close to 3 hours.

It took my boyfriend and me a total of 2 hours to put together with a few hiccups along the way. The headboard wings are inside the zipper compartment of the headboard! We did not know this and thought we were missing these pieces!

Need a few drinks before putting this thing together

I love the bed, but I had to help my husband put it together because he was so mad at how long it was taking. You have to put the entire thing together with a small Allen wrench, but it barely has room enough to turn the wrench, so it took a few hours. Very poor design on putting it together. I felt bad for purchasing a bed that put him in such a bad mood. The frame is also slightly larger than my king size mattress. Not a big deal, I just thought it was weird since king is a standard size. All in all, it's still a beautiful bed, and I like it a lot now that it's done.

Bed is beautiful but had quite a hard time trying to assemble as it did not come with instructions! After calling Target customer service and receiving no help whatsoever, I luckily found directions on a competitor’s website who also sells this exact bed. Bed was a great deal, Target’s customer service not so much!

The bed arrived timely in three separate long heavy boxes. None of the tools or parts were missing. Between the two of us it took a total of three hours to unpack and fully assemble the bed. 30 minutes of the time was used to try to remove two stickers that say "Headboard" with arrows. About 1.5 inches of slats show with the mattress on top but we don't mind that. The color is not as light as it is in the picture. It is more of a light gray beige. The walnut wood color is better in person. We feel that it is a sturdy bed so far.

beautiful bed but hard to assemble

Love this bed, it is beautiful and well made. The wood looks very high quality. My only complaint is that it is difficult to assemble. If we ever move hopefully the new homeowners will want to keep this bed!
